This was at the store in Seekonk, Ma.

Visited *** to purchase a new muzzleloader for the upcoming hunting season, looking to spend well over $600. I knew exactly what rifle I wanted since I have been doing research online.

First, it took almost 15mins for me to find a single employee on their floor (I didn't just stand there either, I was walking around their whole store looking for someone). I finally came across two young men and asked them for help.

They didn't have the particular model I was looking for, so I asked if they had any in their Warwick store. They literally answered, "I don't know," and didn't bother to pick up the phone and ask. Working on a sales floor, I know that they should have said something like, "thats a great question, let me call them for you and we can find out." For them, I was just another customer taking their time and making them work.

Then, I look at one of the muzzleloaders they had on their floor and asked if the barrel had a special coating. One of the workers took a quick look at the gun and said, "I don't believe so."

Does that mean, "No, the gun doesn't have the coating," or "I don't know, why don't you figure it out yourself?"

Seriously? The tag with all of the information about the gun is right there. You can't read it? You can't call someone?

Here I am, eager to spen a ton of money for a rifle, and the gentlemen can't take ten mins of his time to answer a single question?

These employees know nothing about any product, and they won't even try to find simple answers. The sales floor is always empty, making it difficult to find help. Sports Authority was much better than *** in terms of customer service. Too bad they closed.

I decided to drive an hour away to Bass Pro shops, and the gentleman was nice (and it was the same man who was working in that station three years ago). They hire people with knowledge, and put them in the proper department to give the most knowledge and service to customers.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
