They have had two elephants die in 1 year which necropsy results showed they were sick and neglected and they have 1 ele left name Minnie who is neglected and used as the other were as slaves for their profit. They claim she is family to them yet she stays along all day in a metal barn in the dark and a small cramped space with no real nutrition and very little space.
She does not see sunlight for days and is severely depressed and stands in her own urine and *** They also just acquired a giraffe that is near her in the same area ans if they are having such financial hardship due to covid where did they get the money to purchase a giraffe and mostly the permit?? They are just waiting for a financial offer to come their way to finally do what us right and unselfish and let her finally be free and be an elephant at the Tennessee Sanctuary. They are heartless and what is up with the fact that the USDA and Ct court stated if Beulah necropsy showed she was ill and not being taken care of they would then have to surrender Minnie. What are people waiting for ?
For her to die alone in a metal make shift barn,, sad and all alone?? I've been there and seen it personally.
No one was there at all for over 9 hrs, and she was alone and swaying back and forth and left as if she was being punished, it was vile and disgusting! Maybe real activism needs to come into play to assure she is freed and they get their karma!!
User's recommendation: Please donot attend their events and write the governor of Ct.
Preferred solution: Retire Minnie and have a heart for what is right or maybe some losses need to take place.
