Coach sneakers
I recently bought a pair of mens sneakers, cost $225. I wore them one day and on the second day my right foot was in severe pain.
I brought them back and the manager apologized.Said something to the effect as to how they were mass produced. They gave me a new pair. Same thing happens but on the other foot after wearing 2 days. The stitching was rubbing against my toe so badly that I started bleeding.
I called the sales person I dealt with and she said to bring them to a shoe maker and have them stretched. Now they were not tight at all but I brought them to a shoe maker. He inspected the sneaker and said there was something wrong with the stitching, which me and my girlfriend knew by feeling the inside of the sneaker where I was being bruised. The shoe maker confirmed it.
He stretched the sneaker in the hopes that it would correct the problem and it didn't. I brought the sneakers back and was told that the manager said I could no longer were a shoe and return it which was fine with me, although the way I looked at it is they sold me 2 pair of defective sneakers. I have never in my life had this problem with any shoe. I was also told that they were going to do me a favor and return my money, at that point I got angry and informed the sales person that they sold me 2 defective pairs of sneakers,( not cheap either) and that they were not doing me a favor by returning my money.
By the way I also bought a $600 bag for my girlfriend at the same time as the sneaker purchase. I have over a dozed pairs of shoes, boots, sneakers in my closet, no problem. I never had a problem like this. A shoe maker said it was the stitching.
I was appalled at their attitude that they were "showing me a courtesy" by returning my money. I have bought many coach products over the years. This is not my first purchase with this company. But to tell you the truth I have lost confidence in the brand and wouldn't feel comfortable making another purchase.
I was thinking of buying a down winter jacket for $895 from them and possibly a more expensive spring leather jacket too but I will not because I just don't trust the workmanship. I don't want to were the jacket and a month later have a problem with the stitching and they turn around and don't stand by their product.
Too bad, their loss. I guess I will just have to spend my money else were.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
