It went from $4 to $8 thousand on the phone with an added as much as $26,000.00. 3 and a half hours of travel 1 hour and 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment they were very kind.

They put me through the motions and the dentist came up with $38,000.00 this is a rip off from the word go. I received a nice set of dentures from a different provider and it was not quite $1000.00 My only problem was that I had to use dental adhesive. 4 little implanted buttons and I can eat an apple! What a joke.

I can get it done locally and not have to drive 8 or more hours back and forth.

I bet MANY appointments are missed ONLY because of time a distance. Get ready to "bend over"

LIKE I SAID, THAT'S THE DIFFERENCE. CLEAR CHOICE IS ONLY DENTURES WITH 2 PINS HOLDING THEM IN PLACE.

IF YOU WANT YOUR COLON REMOVED WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH DO IT!

I COULD GIVE A XXXX! CLEAR CHOICE IS A RIP OFF PERIOD!

Who in Virginia Beach will do it for 1000.00? In the process of having an upper and lower.

Nasty experience. I paid ALL upfront ,but may need another dentist. I am a nuisance to these people. From the front desk to the back.

I will go to BBB if things aren't working out So disgusting.

I wonder if you could call a thoracic surgeon and get any sane quote for removing colon cancer via a phone quote? Think the doc could talk intelligently about what needed to be none and the cost before you are even examined in the office and an MRI and PET scan done?

No?

Then why the heck do you expect an ironclad quote for something complicated like implant surgery and hybrid prosthesis fabrication before you even walk in the office?!

JUST SO YOU KNOW CLEAR CHOICE IS SELLING YOU DENTURES THAT ARE SCREWED IN WITH TWO PINS. IF YOU ARE UNFORTUNATE AND HAVE TO HAVE UPPER AND LOWER DENTURES THEN YOU CAN GET ANOTHER DENTURE PINNED IN AT THE BOTTOM TOO.

SAINT CLOUD MN YOU DO NOT HAVE A CLUE AS TO WHAT YOU ARE SPEAKING OF. YOUR ARE AN IDIXT

"Get ready to bend over"!?! How is it a negative review on them because their office is not conveniently located in your back yard!?!

& because implants require a pretty major surgery; which is why going thus route costs way more than some regular dentures. Have you even considered the pros & cons? With removable dentures you have to take them in/out daily, use adhesives to keep them in, and suffer bone loss over time which will not only change the entire shape of your face, but require you to get your dentures re-lined repeatedly, but also replaced over time.

Have you ever heard the term 'the cheap gets expensive'!?! Maybe next you should leave a negative review for BMW cuz you can't afford one of those.

Its actually NOT "major surgery". Of course depending on what KIND of implants you get..they are basically screwed into your jawbone.

I was awake during it. So stop scaring people.

@Anonymous

You wereally AWAKE while they pulled your remaining teeth, drilled your jaw bones level, screwed in the implants, and your gums were sewn up!?! Wow, where did you go for your implants...

isle 7 at Walmart? I actually went to Clear Choice, the Edina, MN location... and there's no way they'd leave a patient 'awake' during this "major surgery". I spent the following 2 wks in more pain than I can describe, and another 2 wks of slightly less misery.

Now, 2 months post-op I'm starting to feel like myself again.

I'm not out to "scare" anyone... just provide REAL reviews based on MY experience BECAUSE when I was researching, before my surgery, all I could find was reviews *** about price, not what to actually expect while having this done.

My husband had 2 days of pain, enough to take the pills every 4 hours, then a week of aching. Eating was tender for about another week.

Each person is very different. Pain effects different nerves and some feel it more acutely than others. But this sight is about our experiences. We didn't have problems with the procedure, we had problems with the aftercare.

The dentures did not fit properly. I'm glad you could afford the full cost up front, but my husband and I are both retired, living on a fixed income. Cost is a big thing. These are very expensive and they really psych you up and tell how they have programs for EVERY budget...yeah!

some don't get the whole shebang because of the cost. It's not about B******G, but about cost and service.

You are truly blessed if you could afford these and that you didn't have bad service or ill fitting devices. Some of us had both!

You sound like trash, so your 'true identity' is of no interest to me!

You know...you really show your "true identity" when you start calling names. This behavior is called juvenal. Don't like a response...at least be an adult and ignore the comment or answer with a brilliant sesquipedalian verba.

I didn't read his complaint as the main issue being distance but the cost being doubled without clear reasons. Then, after traveling 3 1/2 hours to the appointment, he wasn't seen for more than an hour and twenty minutes past his scheduled appointment.

(he would then have the 3 1/2 hour return and with the consultation taking about 2 hours, you are looking at a 9 hour day minimum.) This is excessively late, our time is important and costly as well...we have no idea if this interfered with other appointments, childcare, or even work!

I won't suggest that I was quoted a price and that it doubled, but the advert did read, programs for every budget...Well, the budget I have for $1500 a month, but they would only allow 10 months, so my husband could only afford lower implants and upper dentures. I still ended up paying $2000 a month, got behind on our mortgage, and car payment and the dentures have never fit...even after 8 adjustments.

I am in need badly. Im about to lose my bottom tooth and have to break down and get this done.

What do you recommend. You said you went locally. I just dont want dentures that dont look natural. Im only 50 years old and dont want to do this but have no choice.

I cant spend a lot of money or what to get ripped off and be unhappy. Comment?

I don't know what a single implant would cost...but complete implants at Clear Choice run about $35-40 thousand! Not exactly affordable!
