Hired them for a "deep clean" of my home before tenants moved into my property and discussed all expectations on the phone prior to arrival. Two people were requested to cut down the time requirement in half.

Two ladies came 30 mins late with no phone call, and unapologetic upon arrival. Reeking of cigarettes, they laughed when I questioned their tardiness and said "your # isn't a Calgary # so we didn't want to have to pay for long distance".

One lady cleaned during her time there, but the other one pranced around with a feather duster and cloth for about 20 mins and was in her car for about an hour. 30 mins before their end time, I did a quick walkthrough a noticed numerous incomplete tasks (rug had not been vacuumed, window sills not wiped, blinds and tables not dusted, bathroom mirrors not cleaned etc) and asked the "working" lady to ensure these basic cleaning items aren't missed. She ran out to the car to talk to the "non-working" lady and came back in with a cloth and and spent about 2 mins wiping down the window sills until the "non-working" lady stormed into the house 15 mins before their paid time was over and yelled to the "working" lady who was upstairs: "LET'S GO NOW!!!!".

We were astonished at the unprofessionalism and blatant rudeness as we were sitting within 2 meters from the front entrance. The "working" lady apologized and said she has to obey the orders of the "non-working" lady as it is her business and they left.

Not only did they fail to provide the "deep cleaning" service requested, the cleaning they provided was incomplete and the customer service level was horrendous!!!!!

Cleaning Connect took my complaint via phone, indicating a supervisor would respond within two hours to ensure they complete their job before getting paid, and I still have yet to hear from them a month later. I have called numerous times since then to follow up with no response, and their voicemail box is always full. I don't know how they are a service provider across Canada. We chose Cleaning Connect and paid a higher price for the service than a smaller company so that they could address any potential issues. They clearly do NOT do that and only want to force payment before service so they can get away with this.

Disgusted with service providers like this who remain in business.

Monetary Loss: $100.
