City Furniture - Terrible Customer Service/Delivery
The sale starts out great. Sales guy in the store was very friendly and very helpful.
It stopped there. When arranging for delivery I specifically told the sales guy I needed morning delivery and the afternoon was not an option. He said no problem we can do delivery 8am-11am. Great!
The store calls you the morning of the delivery at 8am and says delivery will be between 3-5pm. I inform them that wont work and I was told it would be a morning delivery. The rep on the phone (who was very rude) says " we don't guarantee a specific delivery range". I said well I can't be avail in the afternoon.
She said you can reschedule but it will be $99 charge to redeliver. I said I'm not paying that. The salesman said it was no problem to deliver in the morning. She said she would have customer service call me.
They did and were even ruder than the first woman I spoke with. I said never mind. Cancel the delivery and I will pick it up at the warehouse myself. So I went afterwork to pick up.
Even worse experience that delivery. Warehouse guys were rude, evasive, and took almost 2 hours to get my furniture loaded. I was the only one there. The stood around talking and joking with one another.
Stay away from City Furniture.
Horrible service. Furniture is cheaply built too.
