I bought a house and was not informed I have natural gas water heater. I found out last Saturday when I was unable to take a hot (or even warm) shower.

I called and explained I have a 10 month old with a skin condition that requires a daily warm bath and they basically so.?, no account no gas.

I offered medical documentation to validate my need, again no, I asked to have a supervisor call and Ive yet to hear from anyone.

I called back today and they said we will be happy to turn of your gas today for an additional overtime charge of $60. It takes less 5 mins to unlock the valve!

Unfortunately I have no other natural gas options so Im stuck dealing with a company that cares nothing for their customers, unless they are willing to pay!!!

User's recommendation: Do Not get natural gas!!!!!!!

Preferred solution: Wavier the turn on fee for the infant with the skin condition and turn on gas today..

You should have to pay like everyone else, just because your baby has a medical condition should not mean they should waive the fee.
