Cartier - No returns for defective merchandise
We purchased an expensive bracelet at Cartier. After wearing a few times the bracelet fell off.
We had it repaired. Unfortunately it fell off again. Fortunately we found it. After several complaints they stuck by their policy of only offering an in store credit.
I told them since it was unlikely to find merchandise that was exactly the same price so in order to use the credit I would be required to give them even more money.
This is a ridiculous policy for defective merchandise. If Cartier does not stand behind their products it is not wise to pay their high prices.
Reason of review: Damaged or defective.
Monetary Loss: $35000.
Preferred solution: Full refund.

Must be the LOVE bracelet. I have 3 and they are also giving trouble. Overpriced hunk of junk!
I have recently purchased a love Bracelet from Cartier e'boutique which unfortunately did not fit around my wife wrist, I therefore sent the item back to them and 3 weeks later they are refusing a refund as they claim the item has been damaged by me or my wife which is truly impossible as it didn't fit her and went straight back in the box.
Is there anything i can do in this situation?

Still not resolved they have refused a refund and trying to get me to give them more money to apply the credit to a new item
