I am a gold member with Carnival and have been hung up on 2 times prior to anyone answering and now have been waiting over 22 minutes before someone answers. I got an email the rates had dropped from Carnival and had the price match guarantee is junk.

After talking with a Carnival representative it's only good for 48 hours after booking. Please beware and never book ahead of time, wait until the last 4 weeks or book with another cruise line that doesn't trick you into thinking you are a VIP. We also have a suite booked for our family 1 year from now so when irritated I tried to cancel and they said it would cost me $200! Carnival is a little cheaper and I've cruised with others like Royal Caribbean, but the bottom line is you get what you pay for and none of them are cheap, beware of the Carnival (pseudo you're special because it's a lie!) A cruise that seams cheaper than another no matter how loyal is a scam.

I'm canceling my suite for next year taking the hit for $200 and never looking back.

Go Princess, Royal or Celebrity. My family and my wallet deserve better than Carnival!

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Monetary Loss: $300.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Carnival Cruise Line Pros: Have ben great untill now.

Carnival Cruise Line Cons: Declining standards, Customer service is a joke.
