Carbonite - No Refund after 60 days
Along with quite a few other people on here, I cancelled my Carbonite subscription last year and deleted the program from my computer. Then, I received an email from them yesterday stating that I needed up update my computer for the program to work.
Hmmmm... So, I went and checked my bank account. They charged me last year and were charging me for ANOTHER year! I was able to have the one they just charged refunded, but they said they weren't able to refund the charge from last year since it was past 60 days.
Very frustrating. Be careful.
Even when you "cancel" on the phone with them, via email, and delete the program off your computer (which is really all it says to do on the website), they will still charge you the next auto renewal - even if your credit card information is different than it used to be. Pretty shady.
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
