About
Calgary Portfolio is a training ground for some of the top finance students in Canada; it is the innovative program of the University of Calgary. It is designed for students to be committed to the program for two years, when they are designated as Research Associates and Compliance Analyst in their first year. Over the course of the two-year program, participants in the CPMT gain valuable knowledge and expertise in a variety of areas, including equity research, spreadsheet modeling, portfolio tracking and teamwork and many others. Calgary Portfolio was founded by the Calgary Chartered Financial Analyst Society. Initiating members included Curtis Probst, Brian Gallen, John Grecu, James, Cameron, Bill MacLachlan, Gordon Currie and Dr. Michael Robinson. Calgary Portfolio was started in 1995.
