Bought this lovely cardigan directly on Burberry.com. It was the first Burberry item I ever bought.

The package arrived on time in a beautiful box. Upon inspecting the garment, it was really obvious there was a problem with the stitching. I contacted Burberry and sent them the pictures. The one I had was the last piece and they wanted the garment back to inspect its quality.

I was willing to accept the piece if they gave me a discount. However, the discount was only given on the next order. If this had happened in the real world in an actual store, the discount will be applied directly at the till, for the current order, not the next. Because of this disgenuine offer of a discount, I have decided to return the garment and get a full refund.

Burberry not only lost a customer for life but also made a loss on a garment that would not have been able to be sold. Rather silly don't you think?

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $122.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.
