It has now been over 4 months and the firearm has not been sent back to me. I spoke to the owner today who says he hopes to have it done by Friday (11/09/2012).

At this time I am still out both the money for the repair and the firearm itself.

There is a reason this shop has an F with the BBB.

We have done business with this guy in the past without any problem. We mail the gun, he fixes it and mails it back. However, we are now running into issues.

We sent a gun to the shop in July to have it reblued. He assured us he would start on it immediately. Fast forward three months and the gun is still not ready and all the owner will say is that it's sitting on his work bench.

I think our mistake was paying in advance. He's not motivated to complete this.

Monetary Loss: $550.
