Brush Buddies started in 2008 with surveying kids, parents and dental professionals concerning brushing their teeth and their toothbrushes particularly. Later the same year, Brush Buddies launched its Talking line of toothbrushes with Bow-Wow Brewster as its first character; a talking toothbrush in the shape of an easy-to-hold puppy - one of the most popular pets for children. Bow-Wow Brewster instructs young brushers about proper brushing technique in a playful puppy voice while brushing for a full two minutes the dentist recommended length of time to brush. Later more Brush Buddies products were developed with a mindset to make brushing fun. The company developed a line of character-based toothbrushes that kids would love. To appeal to both boys and girls, using cute animals was the obvious choice. Brush Buddies is based in Fontana, CA.
