On January 2015 I bought a Brother printer, HLL2340DW model, that was supposed to have a Starter Toner Cartridge of 700 pages as it says in its specifications (www.brother-usa.com/Printer/ModelDetail/1/HLL2340DW/, http://www.brother.es/impresoras/laser/hl-l2340dw). However it only printed 341 pages, much less than 700, even less than half. I wrote an e-mail to the customer service and support (in Spain, consultas@brother.es) at mid July to ask for some explanation and for some compensation, and one and a half month later I am still waiting for any answer. Note that the toner cartridge in laser printers is a very expensive part, so it represents a high percentage of the total cost of the printer.
