Blair - WHAT DOES PREPAID RETURN LABEL REALLY MEAN?
The blouse I bought from the Blair catalogue at $22.49 was too large. I kept the skirt ordered @ the same time. Total shipping chgs. paid were $10.99 for 2 items.
I used their enclosed "Prepaid Easy Return Label" & returned the blouse.
My credit card showed I was credited only $12.50. After wrangling with several computer voices, who asked for my Social Security#; I was transferred to a customer service rep.
The rep, LaShay explained that the difference of $9.99 that I was shorted was for shipping charges to return the blouse. I said "It says Prepaid Easy Return Label". She said "Oh, you're gonna pay for that." 2 items shipped TO me, cost $10.99. 1 thin, gauzy blouse sent back is $9.99 charged to ME? They should correct their invoice by saying "Customer paid Easy Return Label". PREpaid has ALWAYS meant "paid for in advance" or paid for by the company!
Reason of review: misleading "prepaid" return label.
Monetary Loss: $10.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Blair Cons: Using their prepaid return label and being charged for it.
Location: Taunton, Massachusetts

They do state on the bottom of the return label it costs 9.99, most companies do charge you. You just have to read the label. I have yet to run into a company that will give you back your original shipping either ( especially Amazon), it's just common sense
They are stealing from every one of their customers no doubt!
