Unfortunately, since my review in August 2019 with a 5-star rating, things have changed A LOT. The business model must have changed.
I had a personal stylist pre-COVID. I was away from NYC for some time and upon return, I contacted the stylist. At first, I was told she was truly excited to re-connect, then I was told she could meet with me in two weeks, then it was not in two weeks. Then I asked what is the availability.
I was told there is no availability - ever. I'm shocked at the way the communication was handled. I had asked for a phone call, but was refused. Obviously, I wouldn't want to work with a stylist who has no time for a client or decided she didn't want to work with me - but this experience has made me decide to no longer patronize Bergdorf Goodman.
It's a shame - Barney's has closed, BG may be headed in that direction. The stylist is excellent and very kind - I'm assuming it's the management model that's changed.
