Beltone - Class Action Suit Needed!
I went to Beltone initially for an advertised hearing test and was told I needed hearing aids. For the 'trial period' I had to submit $400.00 which I was lead to believe would be returned to me if I didn't go ahead w/the purchase.
At the end of the 'trial period' I felt I just could not afford the cost as I am retired. At that time I was told my $400.00 would not be refunded as they couldn't use the 'trial' aids for someone else. Rather than be 'out' my $400.00 I went ahead with getting the hearing aids. After numerous trips to Beltone and untold attempts to make the aid fit my left ear, I felt that it was useless to continue.
I contacted the regional manager and he told me since I entered into the program there was no reason to return my money ($4200.00). The hearing aids are now sitting in a drawer in my house somewhere as the left one will NOT stay in my ear, plus I am out $4200.00! In hindsight I would have been better just losing the initial $400.00.
I think this is an outrage! I cannot afford an attorney as I'm on a fixed income....I wonder how many other people have been 'duped' by this company.
Monetary Loss: $4200.

My hearing aides are useless! They are still like new and sitting in the case they came in.
I have tried to contact the company and NOTHING!!! The place I got them is seriously the worst place you can go. The tech was not helpful at all, now the company is the same!!
What a ripoff!!!
$7,800.00 which we will have to pay for the next 7 years!!!
Same here plus they do not work and always going to get them cleaned and adjusted. Worthless
