Bella Collina potential home buyers BEWARE: Many unhappy home buyers" Bella Collina have to pay $40,000 to $80,000 for "membership" and $5,000 every year for almost worthless service or return on top of association fees. It's not really a SCAM but it's a TRAP The real estate agent and the homeowner do not really mention it until late and then you are trapped into a $80,000 TRAP No wonder houses in Bella Collina that were worth $6 million fell to $2 million and lost 60% to 80% of their value.

Rather than being an asset, though, the piece of dirt in the Bella Collina country club near Montverde has become a liability. The property is so buried in property-association debt from previous owners that The Housing League LLC may have to give it back to developers and face losing tens of thousands of dollars it spent to stay current on taxes and association dues.

Review about: Bella Collina Houses Property.

I didn't like: Trapped into 80000 dollars a year payment, Bella collina homes depreciating value.

I am a real estate agent who sells real estate in Bella Collina. My fellow agents and buyers love what the new developer has done to clean up the mess created by the dead beats who filed that lawsuit.

I know several of the plaintiffs and they are just angry the free ride is over for them. Their lawyer, E. Timothy McCoulough is local lawyer and is known for being a whacko like his clients.

He has several legal malpractice suits against him as well as recently filing for personal bankruptcy.

Your attack on the developer and POA show how ignorant you are "real estate agent" from Atlanta.....

Again this Bella Collina place is being sued and this time it's Randall Greene being accused of alleged dishonest and fraudulent business dealings and the newspapers write:

Bella Collina property owners, in lawsuit, allege racketeering

“The Defendants illegally usurped control of the POA. The POA, without member authorization, then filed 400 fraudulent lawsuits for the collection of invalid special assessments, which coerced lot owners to surrender their lots,” the lawsuit says.

FRAUD and scams continue to be the theme of Bella Collina. No real estate with conscious should sell property there.

Soon, real estate agents will be sued for selling and recommending Bella Collina real estate.

You need to do your research buddy, there are no cheap houses at Bella Collina. You seem really concerned with Bella Collina and all the old disproven news stories.

Apparently you live there or wished you lived there.I think I know the answer though.

Let's create a new post with some more information and examples and and friend from the web to help explain you better what being TRAPPED into an agreement feels like.

Maybe I am wrong, so I will post it widely on the web and ask the public if they think that buying a cheap house of $500,000 in Bella Collina and having to pay an additional $80,000 membership + $10,000 a year forever is TRAPPED.

I would ask them if they think that not being able to ever get out of this agreement is a SCAM or not and let's see what they think.

Anonymous, do you live in Bella Collina? If so, did you read your governing documents when you bought there?

Mr. Moules, I looked and I could not find in any advertising of Bella Collina homes that you MUST pay an additional $80,000 and about $10,000 a a year.

If you don't like it, can you stop paying it and stop using the club? If not, some can feel like Bella Collina home buying is a TRAP and some can feel like a SCAM.
