Baers Furniture - Refused to refund money when order was cancelled
Last December I ordered two mattresses and a dresser with mirror from Baer's in Port Charlotte. The first mattress was delivered, but there was a delay with the second one, and I cancelled it.
Because I waited until after the Christmas holidays to follow up on the expected refund, I was told this would be denied. Apparently there is a 3 day window when you can request a refund for a cancelled order. I also ordered a smaller dresser after measuring the space at home, and the sales person said that the difference between the dressers would be refunded. Again, this was denied.
I ended up with a large credit instead that could only be used to buy more furniture from the store.
The manager was indifferent. Though the sales person was nice, I will never shop at this store again.

Monetary Loss: $1500.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
