I know several people that have had the same experience in January, one customer doesn't even use their gas, they just have a hook-up at their office to the hot water heater, but the pilot light has been shut off for over a year now. Suddenly, they get a bill for over $100!

I am gathering names and addresses, and when I get a list big enough, I'm going to see an attorney to file a lawsuit and get an investigation going. Time for someone to go to jail.

I am planning to start a social media page that allows people to sign up. This has got to stop, and they have been getting away with it for too long.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Monetary Loss: $100.

Preferred solution: Class action suit and investigation by PUC and State's Attorney.

Atmos Energy Cons: Price gougers and false billings, Pricing.

where can i sign up? atmos misread my meter by almost $1,000 in usage and is claiming i need to pay them even though my meter isnโ€™t even close to what theyโ€™re trying to make me pay for...

Yup, ours has been no higher than $60/month for the past 5 years and this past month was $140! Completely ridiculous.

I have the same problem, my December bill was around $300, January 2017 $600 and now Feb $400. i live by myself, and funny enough my heater was using electricity without my knowledge I though when thermostat is on Heat will use gas and E Heat will be electricity, i guess i was wrong.

When the technician from Atmos came over that's when i found it i was using electricity and that align with my bill for electricity for December and January hike to $194 and $200.

That means, only two things using gas at my house are range and water heater.

For me this does not make sense, the usage of two things by 1 person who goes to work at 6 AM and come back 6 to 8 PM Monday to Friday will have that high usage of gas. From what?

We checked the heater, no leakage and my water bill is constant no changes that can highlight abnormal usage.

I had the same problem a bill that was triple then what it should be I had them cut it off
