Aspen and Willow shoot and edit beautiful photos, IF you ever receive them. It was an immediate red flag when she didn't want to come early enough on our wedding day to get getting ready photos.
I had to pay her extra to get her to come an hour early. She still didn't take enough time to get the bridal party photos before the ceremony, so we had to spend our limited time between the ceremony and reception shooting those and were not left with sufficient time to get photos of just my husband and I. Our wedding was at a venue A&W shoot at often so you'd think they would be familiar with the venue and know of good spots to take photos, but she only had us pose in two different areas before we were rushed to go do introductions at the reception. The day after our wedding we received a few sneak peak photos but then over 7 months went by before receiving any more photos.
They required payment in full 2 weeks before the wedding date, so she's been paid all along and didn't provide our photos in a timely manner and was extremely difficult to communicate with. I ended up with only a couple photos that are of just my husband and I, when I know that she shot more than what she sent us, like I said we only shot in two different areas and she only provided the photos (only 6 in total of just the two of us) from one of the areas. Our wedding date was 4/9/22 and I had to reach out to find out where our photos were 7/13/22. After that she would tell me over and over for months that she would get the rest of our gallery to me the next day, or over the weekend, or the following Monday but I would never receive what she would promise and then it would be weeks and weeks of different excuses until all of a sudden she's just stopped responding to my calls and texts at all.
I finally received more photos in November of 2022 but still not all of them. They explained that they do not provide all the photos that they take - obviously- but there are photos that I know that they took that I specifically asked for that I did not receive, like more photos of just my husband and I (I only received SIX total and it was for our wedding!!) and the detail shots I asked for with our rings and my something old-something new-something borrowed memorabilia with our invitation. I provided her with all of those things and did not receive photos of them. I have not been able to get in touch with her since November.
As of the beginning of this year I can no longer access the site that the photos were on that she provided. At no point did she ever explain that we would eventually lose access and to make sure we had all the photos downloaded. I took advantage of the fact that they were stored on the site she provided and did not download all of the photos. I have tried to get in touch with her countless times to get access to my photos and she will not respond.
I am heartbroken and so incredibly frustrated that I do not have all of the photos to remember our beautiful day. At this point she has over $1000 of our money and we are left with maybe half of the photos from our day.
I would say RUN from this photographer. Horrible experience all around.
