Model 700 humidifier goes on before furnace blower.

When thermostat calls for heat and power is applied to gas valve humidifier is powered on via humidistat. Otherwise everything works fine.

I’ve checked wiring and it’s just as schematic shows.

Is this normal or is something wrong? I’ve never seen a humidifier go on without the hvac blower also running.
