While shopping for a new Lynx grill, I decided to purchase from Appliances Connection. Moments before I was going to purchase, I called Appliances Connection, asking if there were any other coupons available to apply to my purchase.

The gentleman I spoke with found a $20.00 coupon that he could apply to my purchase, I graciously accepted his offer. I told him I had a 'Shopping Cart', of which he located. We did the credit card transaction verbally over the phone. A couple of days later, I noticed that they ran my credit card transaction for $2779.00 instead of $2299.00.

I went to their website and found my shopping cart still open. I called Appliances Connection to straighten this out, and was told there was nothing they could do. Appliances Connection emptied my shopping cart while I was on the phone! Thank goodness I printed a copy before I called!

I informed them that the shopping cart (see attached copy) was our only contract for this sale, and any charges over the amount agreed upon would not be paid.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Monetary Loss: $500.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
