In December I signed up for a $800 per month ad campaign where I was promised assistance in getting my AngiesList profile worked on by my personal contact at AngiesList. All I was needed to do was sign up for a year contract and get it going.

Four months later I finally get contacted with "Sorry I dropped the ball" from my rep. I refused to pay for the months where I got no assistance from them but they say they ran my ad, misspellings and all.

Part of the problem is that the sales rep who sold me the bill of goods in the first place did not put anything in writing. They solicit and sell on the telephone so all you can rely on is their one sided written contract.

There is plenty of business to be gotten from Yelp. Stay away from Angie.
