I have a 2011 LM700 with very few hours. I discovered *** in the casting of the rear differential caused by a broken screw that holds a bearing in place.

The bearing cap has holes for a 1/4 inch screw. The screws that failed were 10/24, taped way off center, so that a very small part of the allen screw head touched the bearing cap. Little wonder they broke and got between a gear and the case punching *** in it. I contacted the manufacturer of the differential who said they corrected the screw problem in the early stages of production and have no parts available to correct the problem.

Hilliard Corporation, New York. American Landmaster has no parts available either and has no solution for the problem. I am stuck with a non functional ONE TOUGH MACHINE as american landmaster describes it.

A large waste of money. Not worth much as scrap.

User's recommendation: Poor Quality.

Location: Livonia, Michigan
