Ambetter - This company is a fraudulent scam
You cannot get medical care with this company. You can see a nurse in 2-3 weeks but you will be damned when you need to see a real doctor.
The reimbursement to the doctors is so low they will not accept you as a patient. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment the quoted wait time for a new patient is 8 months. By that time you will be in your next calendar year of treatment. These guys know how to cut costs.
They don't realize or maybe they don't care they are going to harm or kill some individuals. I wish Trump knew about this sour situation.
Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.
Monetary Loss: $8400.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Ambetter Cons: Not getting medical attention.

AMBETTER IS DOING PHISHING SCAMS
I agree. They are scam artists, but the US government is doing nothing about it to help the American citizens.
I received a tax credit so that I would have a $0.00 premium monthly and the Customer Service Reps at Ambetter assured me that that is how it would be for the year of 2019. All of a sudden Ambetter is now charging me $469.32 a month for health insurance. I am healthy and a non-smoker. I used to pay approximately $100 a month for coverage with BCBS when I could get insurance privately.
Now it's impossible for me to even pay my premium.
Ambetter should be punished for this. The Affordable Care Act is going to get a lot of people in debt and sick (possibly leading to death) without affordable health coverage.
