Aldi Grocery - Customer service
HI, Here the meaning of Customer service: it is the provision of service to customers before, during and after a purchase. The perception of success of such interactions is dependent on employees "who can adjust themselves to the personality of the guest".
With a big shame, I can say that this is something not found in Aldi, and it is a shame, because Australia in all their shops I have been in, Coles, Woolworth, Kmart, Target, Myer retc, etc, etc, practice it. Really, do it. Whenever you go to Aldi, is no one you can ask a question. Your cashier will not help you with your shopping, you have nothing to help customers to be able to carry their things unless you buy a bag, which shouldn't be the case, As bunnings does, have boxes for the customers to use, because they do not give bags.
You need to pay for them, but you have the choice of a box . The same happens at 1st Choice shop. It shouldn't be your reply to this, oh that happens because of our prices. Bunnings, and 1st choice are the cheapest in their business and have a good customer service.
If you save in service is not good. A happy customer will give you more back than non happy customers. You are having customers because you are taking adavantage of the need and you are not treating people as a real customer. I hope this helps for the Aldi stores to improve their customer service.
I have seen old people, having to do all their packing because the cashier has been told he/she doesn't need to do it, and this is not Australian, not to help people. Veronica Villena
