AdultFriendFinder - How a person gets permanently banned from Adult Friend Finder
People get permanently banned from Adult Friend Finder for violating the Terms of Use, which are plainly displayed at the bottom of the main sign-in page. They do not get banned because some people supposedly complain to the site that someone is too popular and they are jealous.
They get banned for publicly posting death threats against specifically named members on the site's Magazine section; they get banned for posting unauthorized photos they took of someone out in public so that friends can comment on the size of the person's body parts; they get banned for circulating a list of members they disapprove of to their friends, a list that details why these members are on the list; they get banned for publicly ridiculing another member's lifestyle.
Concrete evidence of these violations must be submitted and reviewed by the site's abuse and legal teams and only when the evidence is black and white is someone permanently banned.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
AdultFriendFinder Pros: Being able to blog with friends.

Did none of those things and was told I could only reactive my account if I sent them a copy of my ID. Wild and ridiculous for people wanting to remain anonymous online for privacy reasons.
I was banned without reason. I had not even posted pictures yet nor exchanged conversation.
Same happened to me! When I emailed to ask why I had been banned, they said a refund was given and they will no longer pursue the conversation.
Have been also banned for abuse supposedly ( but wonโt tell me what Iโm meant to have done) when really all I have done is register a profile and had no interaction on the site since doing so. Iโve done nothing wrong and when I tried to convey that and ask could my profile have been hijacked it fell on deaf ears.
What a load of *** this site is. Glad to say see ya to such ignorant and judgemental site
I was told that I have been banned and to my knowledge I did nothing wrong. I asked what the problem was but have no response.
that happened to me too. I was only on there for approximately 24 hours then poof, I get banned and I never got a response as to why either.
I know I didn't do anything to have that happen. Something shady about that site.
It appears that the site does not consistently enforce the TOU's.
Many members download photos of naked women from the internet and post them in their blogs without permission.
Not only is that a violation of the TOU's, it is also illegal. In addition to violating the TOU's, it also violates copyright laws and it is a violation of 18 USC 2257.
It is not illegal to take photos of a person in a public place where there is no expectation of privacy. You should research the laws to gain a better understanding of them.
Harassing another member is a violation of the TOU's, but the site allows certain members to bully others while claiming to promote anti-bullying.
The TOU's also require a member to use accurate information on their profile, but that requirement is not consistently enforced either because the site allows biological men to use female profiles.
As you probably know, the site does not discuss the reasons why members are banned from the site so it would not be possible for YOU to know why another member was banned.
Accusing a person of a federal crime that they did not commit is defamation of character and provides grounds for a libel lawsuit. Even if one posts anonymously in an open forum, a subpoena can be served to the site to obtain the user's identity and lawyers work on contingency for those types of lawsuits.
I am very aware of the law...it sure is a good thing I was not accusing any one person of doing anything in particular! I was simply stating some of the reasons someone can get permanently banned from Adult Friend Finder.
The site is not perfect; you are correct in that some people do post pictures they have found on the internet into their blogs for entertainment reasons and that is a violation of the site's TOU's. I have no idea why the site allows it but they currently do. Perhaps as long as the member does not claim the picture is of themselves?
Some members used to post such pictures on their blogs all the time, were never reported, never banned and, for whatever reason, chose to do an about-face and declare it was wrong to post such pictures.
So this issue is an ever-changing one. I do think the TOU's are currently being revised as we speak and hopefully that TOU will be addressed.
Transvestites often consider themselves to be females, regardless of the fact they were born as a male. If I am not mistaken, it was the decision of AFF to allow members to choose whatever gender they identified with. You are correct in that profiles do need to be accurate and reflect the information regarding biological gender.
Fake profiles on the site are rampant, as you know. People will claim to be a couple when it's really just a man or just a woman; people will claim they live in Texas when in fact they live in...for instance...Georgia...or Florida; people will claim they are 18 when in fact they are 35. I have been a member of many dating sites and there are usually more fake profiles than real ones. All we can do is report them as we see them and let the site ban them.
My main point in my original post is that, despite AFF's faults, a member is not permanently banned because people complain that someone is getting too much attention and they are jealous and want that member banned, as has been suggested. They are banned because the site has received concrete proof that the member has violated the TOU's and usually on multiple occasions...
Members who are permanently banned often come back to the site with a new profile and will share why they were banned. .and I have not heard of anyone being banned for posting pictures from the internet into their blogs for entertainment reasons only but...you are right...AFF does not disclose the reasons for a member being permanently banned so I could be wrong.
Without getting into the sexual orientation thing in any way, I'm agnostic on that, AFF does kick people off for very spurious reasons, been there done that, and some of them have come from other members complaints that are unfounded or at least one sided.

That you speak of will never get off the ground in a lawsuit.libel is the hardest case of any to prove to be award any money judgement and to take a lawsuit by a lawyer on a """ *** site"" lawyers wouldnt even touch it
You may be confused. Libel is a written defamatory statement, and slander is a spoken or oral defamatory statement.
It is easy to prove libel because it's in black and white and I have documents to use an evidence. My attorney has the hots for me so he may be more interested than you imagine.
