After this review we were finally contacted by Acceptance Now. We were offered a couple of reasonable solutions.

One of which we chose to accept. So far our experience has bettered and the associate that worked with us was very helpful.

After an economic job loss a couple years ago we decided it's time begin rebuilding our credit history and chose to work with Acceptance Now because we felt Raymour & Flanigan was a fairly reputable Co. -Wow!

We have had nothing but issues and we are only at making our 1st payment which is due 8 days from now. We also had to call R&F 12 days after delivery because the ottoman with our chair was already sagging and we wanted to have it repaired (its under the manufactures warranty) we all know we're paying an incredibly high intrest for this service so if the items are having any issues its best to take care of them asap. You would have thought we would have received help when we called, no. "Oh sure, let me check into that and get back to you".

Yea, 72 hours later- "oh we tried to call you" funny thing is, out of having a landline and cell phone they did NOT call either and we touched base and left two more messages in between the 72hrs. At that point we called the actual Acceptance Now because we wanted to just return the ottoman (which per the contract because you are technically "leasing" you can return the item. Of course the rep stated we had to speak with the R&F Kiosk, and that they would be noting the trouble we've had, again 24hr response estimate was given. Another 48hrs goes by no call.

So we call Acceptance Now again! This time we spoke to the Manager J. Castro; this man started off with a condescending attitude, and continued to be a hypocrite. He disclosed items about the contract, then when you reiterated the situation he went against items on the contract, and even stated "items don't get returned".

If you cannot return an item which we fully understand R&F had a no return policy, however there is an additional addendum in the 'lease contract' which states "you may cancel your lease at any time" and "items will be picked up by the R&F store. It's a lease to own program. We are incredibly disappointed with our experience so far it has been time consuming (phone calls) and stressful. All we wanted to do was rebuild we fully understand and accept that mistakes can be made but this has been a 29 day roller coaster so far.

If we did not have an issue with the furniture item itself needing warranty repair, we would of only had trouble with the first payment. (The payment system and of course no one answering the phone at the Kiosk) The overall experience wouldn't be too bad. But fair warning friends, we made a small purchase I couldn't imagine making a larger purchase including several rooms of furniture. We will NEVER use this Company again!

Paying off the items within the 90 days- which probably will not even help us with a credit boost. :(
