They towed my car because it broke down and the safest place to put it was in a permit only apartment parking lot. I called and messages with everyone, the apartment manager, the maintenance guy, I called the towing company and they didn't answer even though they claim to be operating 24/7.
They patrol these neighborhoods like predators. When I went to get some things from my car, like medications, I was denied. The lady behind the counter started making up dollar amounts to release my car. It went from 395.00-240.00.
Then she began insulting me. I left there in tears, I was humiliated. Needless to say, I never saw my car again. I sued them in small claims court and won.
It took 9 months for to pay out the measly thousand dollars they owed.
They were warned by the BBB, and the MN Attorney General's Office to let me get my stuff. These people have been caught towing without a license, they're criminals.
User's recommendation: Stay away.
Preferred solution: Apology.
