1DENTAL. Is the Aetna Dental Access Plan part of PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) ?

The dentists i contact will accept Aetna Dental Access Plan only if is part of PPO.

According to 1Dental website and Dental Access FAQ, Aetna Dental Access is not the same as Aetna dental insurance. Dental Access is a dental savings plan that uses the Aetna Dental Access network. Members get unlimited access to discounted prices at in-network dentists across the country. Each dentist contracts with the Aetna Dental Access network individually, so prices will vary between providers. According to 1Dental Terms & Conditions, 1Dental is administered by Careington International Corp. However, according to 1Dental FAQ Careington is a partner company that administers the Care 500 and Aetna Dental Access networks
