Where is my loan info?

We cannot refinance our home because we cannot obtain any info on our loan. No bill no calls or anything.

The debt collector does not have a file on us at all. What happened to our information.? Our deed is tied up with this company. We have called every number available to us and no one can find anything on our loan.

The underwriters just closed the file on our attempt to refinance our home at a lower rate because they can not do anything until this matter has been cleared up. Can anyone please help us get this matter resolved one way or another?

The owner of CHFS was just indicted by a federal grand jury...I love it!!!!

http://www.fbi.gov/jackson/press-releases/2014/jackson-businessman-indicted-for-bankruptcy-fraud

JACKSON—William D. “Butch” Dickson, 58, of Jackson, was indicted by a federal grand jury on April 8, 2014, on six counts of bankruptcy fraud, six counts of bank fraud, and five counts of wire fraud, announced U.S. Attorney Gregory K. Davis and FBI Special Agent in Charge Daniel McMullen.

According to the indictment, Dickson’s company, Community Home Financial Services (CHFS), is in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in the Southern District of Mississippi Bankruptcy Court. Dickson is alleged to have illegally transferred $9,095,000 out of various bankruptcy escrow accounts to an account he controlled at Banco Panemeno in Panama City, Panama. The indictment alleges that Dickson relocated his businesses to Panama and Costa Rica and began instructing CHFS customers to submit their monthly mortgage payments to addresses in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Miami, Florida, for the purpose of having those payments re-shipped to Costa Rica, in order to prevent the Bankruptcy Court from acquiring CHFS income.

As part of the bankruptcy proceeding, the indictment alleges that all of CHFS assets, both the $9,095,000 transferred to Panama and the incoming mortgage payments from CHFS customers, were under the control of the Bankruptcy Court and were to be retained for the benefit of CHFS creditors. Dickson was detained in Panama by Panamanian Immigration officers and was expelled to the United States on March 12, 2014. Dickson was arrested on a criminal complaint and appeared before a U.S. Magistrate Judge in Miami, Florida, on March 19, 2014, where he was ordered to be detained by the U.S. Marshals without bond and returned to the Southern District of Mississippi. His next court date in Jackson, Mississippi, has not been set.

If convicted, Dickson faces maximum penalties of five years in prison on each count of bankruptcy fraud, 30 years on each count of bank fraud, and 20 years on each count of wire fraud. He also faces maximum fines of $250,000 on each count.

FBI Special Agent in Charge Daniel McMullen stated, “Bankruptcy protection is a privilege afforded to individuals who have suffered financial setbacks, appropriately allowing them to get a fresh start. It is not a means for debtors to fraudulently conceal their assets from legitimate creditors. When this privilege is abused, it threatens the integrity of the bankruptcy process. The FBI is committed to combating bankruptcy fraud and abuse, thereby ensuring the public’s continued trust in the bankruptcy process.”

The public is reminded that an indictment is a formal charge that a defendant has committed a violation of the federal criminal laws. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Cannot find out what happen to our account!!

Trying to refinance my home and cannot because there are no records of our account. we have called everyone that could possible have anything to do with this company and no one can find our account!!

Unbelievable. They file bankrupted and still took money out of our account when they were not suppose to. Our bank had to return the money to us. That was the last we heard of from this.

We really need to fine out what happen. No one can tell us anything regarding this.

Is there anyone out there that is having this problem? Please let us know.

I have been been emailing and calling. I read the Miami address is bogus, I am looking to hear back from a modification, I have had no correspondence at all.

Ms. Thomas, this is Kristina Johnson.

I will be in court this morning attempting to obtain court approval of a loan servicing company to more promptly respond on my behalf to borrowers inquiries. CHFS had borrowers all over the Country and I am attempting to respond to dozens of daily inquiries as quickly as I can while also handling other Chapter 11 Trustee duties for the company. I appreciate your patience and will contact you no later than early next week. I hope by then to have a more definitive response to the loan servicing questions.

More information about what has been happening with CHFS may be obtained on the Community Home Financial Services website.

I have had a loan for 7 years making payments $50-150 additional each month but it seem like my loan should have been paid down a lot more than it has been. I don't trust anyone from the company as ethical.

This notice you place has not legal merit, and with all the corruption here why send payments when the court has not provide any legal resources?

For the last two months I've called and sent letters asking them to contact me because I can't get in touch with them. I've even sent my payments via money orders.

I was making over the phone payments.

I'm not so sure I should send any more payments now. What do we do about this matter?

I stopped sending payment several months ago. The (515) 235-**** appears to be a scam.

I called the number from a blocked line this morning and a person named Brian answered.

I called the number again this afternoon to get more info and the line is already disconnected. I'm going to contact the Department of Justice in Mississippi and also the US Bankruptcy court in Mississippi to get more info.

Bankrupt

what happens to the lien they have on my home? I have no one that I can trust to send my payment to.

Maybe Katherine johnson is a scam as well. What has happened to my file? will they get my numbers right? This really stinks.

CHF were scam artists from the beginning but live and learn. I learned my lesson with them since they put a lien on my house to ensure they get their money.

I am also aware that they will reopen their business some where else at a later date with a new name. Good luck everyone.

Attempting to contact for days, no answer. Bankruptcy?

I've been attempting to contact Community Home Financial Services, Inc for several days and have received no answer from them. The phone just rings and rings and no one answers.

I've also tried calling their local 601 number and it shows that it has been disconnected. After doing some research it looks as if they might be bankrupt.

I am very disappointed as I have no idea where (or if) I send my payment anymore. I am trying to rebuild my credit and stay on top of these things but have no idea if this company is still servicing my loan.

I have been calling Community Home Financial for months now trying to find out where to send my payments and I haven't received a new statement for several months. I have sent my checks faithfully every month to this new address they reference in Miami, Florida. I am trying to pay this mortgage off from my divorce and would like to know if another loan company has bought my loan or what is going on with the payments that have already been sent.

I have left messages every time I call the Florida number and no one ever calls me back.

Guest

Same here. I was in contact with Community Home Financial a few weeks ago trying to negotiate a settlement and they said they would call me back.

Now I tried to contact them and their phone numbers are disconnected. An Internet search showed that their business licenses, in the four states where they conduct business, are inactive.

I also found that they filed for Chapter 11 BK back in 2012 and are in the process of several lawsuits. Not sure what it all means...

NEVER TOOK OUT AUTO PAYMENT

Tried calling them and the phones were disconnected. Called the Jackson, Miss.

police and they sent a unit ouT there, got back to me and said the place was closed at 234 E. Capitol Street. Getting suspicious of impropriety, called several states where their web says they do business; Ohio, Arkansas, Georgia, Oklahoma and they are not licensed in those states including my state in the Northeast. In fact, an official with the Department of Banking in my state informed me that it is illegal to draw payments if CHFS HAS NO LICENSE.

Stunned!!! The Registry of Deeds in my county has no record of CHFS.

My banker told me that if I wanted to sell my house, there probably is no clear title if CHFS doesn't exist on their records. Frustrated

Unable to contact Community Home Financial

I wanted to call them as they took two payments from my card instead of one. I tried to call them but their phone has been disconnected and their email is no longer in service either.

I don't know if they have gone out of business or what. If anybody has any information it would be greatly appreciated.

I am really disappointed with the work ethic of this company and I don't know where to go for any answers. If anybody from Community Home is monitoring this board please make some kind of public acknowledgment of what is in fact going on with your company T Coleman

I have been making payments through quick collect for at least 3 years to community home financial and this months I was unable to do so because their account was no longer receiving payments @ Jackson MS. I tried calling them a got nor answer.

I then received a bill from CHF fron Las Vegas - tried calling them and no answer. I'm afraid to send payment because of fraud.

I am also in an active bank ruptcy so it is very important that I keep my mortgage payments current.

I am so afraid ot loosing my home.. I don't know who to talk to - Can anyone help me??

Guest

The phone number that I have been able to talk to someone is 515-235-****. This number is from Des Moines, IA.

They have cashed my checks, but have not credited my account since October. I have been able to talk to someone when I have called, but I am getting BS that their server crashed, and that they would call me back. Then I was asked to email my proof of payment to a gmail account. These people are a bunch of crooks!!!

I am not sure what is going on, but I have had it. This company has been nothing but a thorn in my side since I was forced into business with them. I would be thrilled if they were put out of business and the owners placed in jail! But like everyone else, I want to know where that puts me.

My gut feeling is Mr. William Dickson is setting up his scam headquarters up in an other location that has not caught up with him yet.

Hello, I'm going through the same issue. I've been calling and calling and no answer.

I've also been mailing checks every month and noticed they weren't cashed.

Based on these sites it looks like they filed bankruptcy. I'm not sure where that puts us.

CHF won't admit fault

We had payments set up to auto withdraw from our banking acct. They would call each month wanting to know when they were going to get a payment.

Loan has been paid off since Sept of last year, yet they continued to withdraw payments and call. We has since put a stop payment on any requests they submit. When my husband spoke to one of their representatives to get the overpayment sent to us he was hung up on. My husband also spoke to their Financial Department to have the over payment paid back.

The person was supposed to investigate and call us back with an answer, that was a week ago.

In the mean time they have been reported to the Indiana Consumer Bureau who is supposed to be checking them out.

Community home financial services are arrogant individuals.

I have never dealt with a company that. Mistreated there customers so badly and disrespectful.

I thought Homeq was bad this company takes the cake. My wife and I filed for bankruptcy and 2 months later they decide to start calling my phone and hanging up before I answer. And when I call them they say oh sir I do not know who called you. "did they leave there name" well how could they when you guys are playing childish games.

These service companies very soon will be going out of business and I'll be thankful. Good ridance to community

I'm glade to see I am not the only going through this! I called the person n appointed as trustie and that's even questionable.

She wants me to send her information they should have! This s a scam all around mean time what are supposed to do with our home!

OMG! I am sorry to say that apparently I am not the only one to have been harassed by them.

During a call that I made to try to find out why my payments are not being credited to my account, I was told by one of their employees that I needed to find Jesus and get a husband.

I have not received any communication from them about bankruptcy, changes of address, or changes of phone numbers. Today was the first time that I noticed that the return envelop had a Miami address. Sharon W.

did the attorney that contacted you give a name and phone #? If so, please post here.

Guest

I was told they filed bankruptcy in dec I received email from there attorney. However, I'm still getting statements, different address, different phone number.

The phone number is in Iowa, address Miami Florida.

I called number Brian said they were still in Mississippi , Iowa phone number and different payment address. Attorney says not to send anything to that address

2/21/14 It would be nice to find out some information. I have tried to call also and no answer. So does this mean that what payments were to go in are now void for current payments until we the consumer are notified of any actions and are we the consumer going to be penalized for the company's default?

Guest

These folks are bullies and will treat you the way you let them. Last night, someone called my home at 11:11 PM!!!!

I called back and no one answered the phone.

What a surprise. Someone would have gotten their feelings hurt.

Guest

I just googled this company to get their phone number and ran across these posts. This company is the worst I've ever dealt with. We no longer owe them money because we had our 2nd mtg through them and we filed CH13, the 2nd mortgage was stripped due to market analysis. This company doesn't even show up on my credit report. You ought to look at the Cease and Desist letter they received from the State of AL. Look it up.

One of their reps left a voice mail and asked why Mr. "our last name" didn't pay our bills, I guess Mrs. "our last name" wears the pants in the family. Seriously, what kind of way is that to talk to someone regarding a professional matter.

I just had to call and remind them not to call me anymore as we filed Bankruptcy and too bad, so sad for them.
