MyFax (subsidiary of eFax)

I signed up for the trial to send one fax and immediately sent an email to cancel the service. After three weeks, I was informed I would have to call an international number to cancel and my membership would continue until then. The problem is that the number didn't work. Indeed, none of their numbers work. And the agents, so keen to offer webchat advice if they think you're signing up, will immediately terminate conversations when they realise it's about cancelling the service. This service is an out-and-out scam and I resorted to cancelling my debit card and reporting them to my bank to stop them drawing funds from my account. We'll see whether that works. But I cannot urge you enough to avoid these charlatans. Don't be the one that walks into the trap and then finds themselves unable to back out. This company will take your money but give you no reasonable means of escape. It's basically glossy fraud.
