We were scammed...
- - We paid $3k to Commercial Capital Investments to sell our timeshare.
- - Ian Johnston (NY) was named; site and phone disappeared; we owe $3k and $9k+ loan.
THESE PEOPLE WILL SCAM YOU IN A HEARTBEAT!!!! My sister and I purchased.
We do have the account with HSI. That is not the problem. The problem is that we paid a $3k fee to Commercial Capital Investments to do the sale of our existing timeshare. Ian Johnston is the guys name in NY.
It has been 6 months and now the website is gone, the phone number is disconnected, and we still own our old timeshare and are out $3k that we paid to Commercial Capital Investments plus the loan for $9k+ for a loan we took out for the downpayment and fees. Definite crooks.
And...Costa Rica Private Residences too for sending us to him, not that we had a choice. You people should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had the same experience. They were supposed to sale 3 time shares for us, take a commission and send us $30k.
We didn't pay them anything upfront, just the amount we invested in the condo use.
I haven't tried to use that yet. We also dealt with Ian who is no longer answering the phone, emails, etc!
