Stove doesnt work , tech support is not available
hp 21 stove is clean as a whistle pof switches have been replaced ,fire ignites just fine but main fan never comes on,.after about 10 minutes alarm goes off and says failure to ignite clean burn pot or open door .???no idea what to do next.it did this last year and then just started working?22 degrees here so house is pretty cold. thinking maybe the whole pellet stove thing was a mistake. please convince me otherwise.thank you,Marty Broom
User's recommendation: I would probably not buy this brand again, first year we had it you could call and people would answer questions now it takes hours or days to get any kind of an answer and without talking to someone in person their troubleshooting guide is really no help

We only use our stove moderately, and every year we try to use it for winter, and there's always a problem. Turned it on last week; we usually use it for about three hours a day to take the chill off.
Less than a week of use this year, it started blowing fuses, so we ordered a new fuse switch power cord box, as we did last year. This time that must not be the problem. It's still blowing fuses after about 30 seconds of powering up. Sounds like the fan motor or one of the components is bad.
For a three-year-old unit, this is irritating, seeing how we went 15 years on the other brand unit at the house we sold with very minimal repairs.
I think we're to the point that we will save up for a quality stove next year. Comfort Built is not worth having; it takes us close to a month waiting for parts every year, and now temperatures are in the 20s to 30s, and we can't rely on it anymore.
- When its working its noisy but fine
- Sick of buying high priced part every year
Preferred solution: New blower motor replacement and if that's not it replacement of what components need replacement
User's recommendation: That a no
Customer and Tech support will have you ready to ditch the brand
