The older Grecian Formula worked for me, and the new does not. I can't believe there was nothing on the packaging to indicate that a change had been made.

Until I did some research and looked into this matter, I doubted my own perception of the change in the product, almost trying to convince myself that I was mistaken. The new formula does not work - period.

It's time to go back to the old formula: Call it "Grecian Classic"

Just like the new Coke had to return to the original formula and call it Coke Classic, so you will have to go back to the original formula if you expect to keep customer consumers...

Combe should be ashamed that they have continued to market this product knowing that it doesn't work. You can soak your head in this stuff and it won't change your hair color just the color of your clothes. This product will soon be gone and hopefully Combe will go with it.

WHY DID YOU CHANGE A SUCCESSFUL HAIR PRODUCT TO SOMETHING AKIN TO WATER. IT NO LONGER WORKS.

IN THE PAST, (OVER SEVERAL YEARS) I USED THIS PRODUCT WITH GREAT RESULTS BUT RECENTLY I HAVE WASTED MONEY ON IT BUT NO LONGER. IT STAINS MY PILLOW CASE, IT STAINS MY SHIRTS IF I SWEAT AND THANK GOODNESS I HAVEN'T BEEN CAUGHT IN RAIN OR IT WOULD HAVE STAINED WHATEVER I MIGHT HAVE ON. IT JUST WASHES OUT AND UNFORTUNATELY ON WHATEVER YOU MAY BE WEARING.

I AM NO LONGER WASTING ANYMORE MONEY ON THIS USELESS PRODUCT.

TAKE IT OFF THE MARKET QUIT WASTING PEOPLE'S MONEY. I STATED MY CASE IN LESS THAN 100 WORDS BUT THIS INSISTS I HAVE 100 WORDS SO I AM FILLING IN.

I HAVE USED THE PRODUCT FOR DECADES. SOMEHTHING HAS RECENTLY CHANGED BECAUSE IT DOES NOT WORK.

IT LEAVES DARK STAINS ON MY PILLOW CASE AND IN THE MORNINGS WHEN WASHING MY HAIR THERE IS A DARK COLOR IN THE RINSE WATER. THE PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE. I HAVE USED ABOUT SEVEN BOTTLES SO FAR. NO CHANGES IN HAIR COLOR.

I also have been using Grecian Formula for 15 years. I bought a bottle at Wal-Mart the other day & returned it because it did not have the yellow stuff floating on top.

I always thought this was sulfur. I then went to the Pharmacy & looked at all of the bottles of Grecian & none of them had yellow stuff in them but I bought one to try. I then wrote the Company asking if they had changed the formula or if this was a bad batch & I got NO response. Like you, the new formula does not work & leaves black on my pillow cases.

Also, more people are commenting about my grey or streaked hair that they have never noticed before.

The old Grecian Formula had lead acetate in it which could cause cancer so our great government probably banned Grecian from putting the lead acetate in it! The new formula does not work & I am pissed!
