Colorado Pen refuses to replace a defective converter filler
- - The converter filled about 50% at first and now 5–10%.
- - GM Cheryl refused a free replacement after six months; the customer will switch.
I bought a Conklin Fountain Pen in April 2024. The converter did not work correctly.
I called colorado pen the day I received it and while talking to the customer service rep the converter filled about 50%. I told the rep that I will try to use the pen as is and she said if there is a continuing problem to call back. I used the pen a few times since April and now the converter pen will only fill about 5 to 10% full. I called Colorado pen today October 29 to ask for a replacement converter after explaining the problem and Cheryl the General manager, and she told me they won't replace the converter for free of charge because it has been too long - 6 months.
They have just lost a customer and she didn't care. I have bought hundreds of dollars of items from them this past yea, and they will not spend $6 plus $6 shipping to replace a part that has been defective from day one.
This is an extremely poor business decision to lose a customer over so little money. I will take my business elsewhere since Colorado Pen seems to think they are the only pen company in America.
