I was reading articles about various celebs on loosing weight by using pure colon cleanse... A link attached saying free trial for 28 days, so I ordered with the intention of cancelling after my free trial had finished.
Once I had purchased I get told I will be charged 95 pounds! I am 19 years old, recently unemployed, and live alone... I cannot afford this! Its false advertising and an absolute scam.
I rang customer services and explained I wanted to cancel my order as I was not aware it would charge me nearlly £100! Foreign person on the phone offered me various discounts and wouldnt listen. He finally gave up and gave me a number to put on the returning parcel.
I am ringing on monday to make sure they have cancelled my order and transaction. Its absolutely appaulling they think they can get away with stuff like this!

We bought the "FREE" trial for $2.95 and were immediately charged, to our debit, $99.95. We spoke to no fewer than six 'agents', the very next day, and none of them could find record of the transaction.
Each one said to e-mail or fax our information and they would call back. UNBELIEVABLE. I have filed a complant with the Attorney General and plan to go after them. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
The trial period was to be 14 days and we could cancel anytime within that 14 days. The number you call for cancellation also has no record and charges were made from some company called "Workout World". We have now cancelled our debit card. WHY CAN'T ANYBDY CATCH THESE INTERNATIONAL THIEFS???
Every person we have spoken to is in a different country. BEWARE!!!!

Colon Cleanse free trial binds you to a monthly contract
I recently ordered Colon Cleanse from Advanced Wellness Research. The website says a one time charge of $4.99 for shipping and handling.
OK for 4.99 I'll try it! I received the capsules in the mail about a week later. 2 weeks later I have a charge on my bank account for $78.88, so of course I call the number 1-86*-225-**** to report unauthorized charges on my account. They inform me that once I commit to the free trial I'm bound to an agreement of monthly shipments of $78.88, Now I'm really frustrated...............So now I'm stuck with this monthly payment???
I also ordered the Acai Berry, and wow! same exact thing Free trial just pay $4.99 for shipping and handling. This one is $78.81 a month.
So now I'm in debt of $157.69 a month. How are company's aloud to do this?
I recently ordered a trial product call Bromocleanse, I paid the supposedly 4.99 shipping charge and my bank acount was debited for $79.95 about 1 week and a half later. I called and they told me that it was in the agreement that you have a 12 day trial period, if you do not
contact them and cancel you are billed for the full amount, I canceled and they gave me a conf.# over the phone. Today I
checked my checking account and two companies Key Discount and My Dining Site each had billed me for $19.82. I got the telephone numbers from my bank and called, I asked who in the h... gave
them authorization to go in my bank account, the authorization came from Bromocheanse, luckly I caught the transaction while it was pending and they will not get the money. The bank representative said they would take care of it from this point. It is a shame that consumers have to be put through these types of situations, whatever happened to HONESTY, it is hard to find in America! WE NEED TO WAKEUP AND TAKE CONTROL.

There is nothing good about this company, and they even told my boyfriend to ("f" off). They have no clue how to run a business and will be taken to court for their fraud.
