They kept my items for 6 months until I gave up!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

They will never send you your items. They are a total scam that takes your items and claims in conjunction with PCGS to grade coins that they have no intention of ever shipping back to you. So kiss your *** goodbye because they will *** you hard!!!

Preferred solution: Collectors universe should be shut down.

User's recommendation: Call your lawyer if you made the mistake of sending them your items!!! You will never get them back.

My most valuable coin was switched with a gashed face Morgan silver dollar graded MS61 very upset, I didn't take a picture because I thought they were a highly respectable company. I sent in 2 1887 O's I felt both coins were at least a 65 or 66, the second less favored came back as cleaned although I don't see anything wrong with it and my highest quality coin which I didn't think it would get anything lower than MS66 was switched out for a gashed face Morgan silver dollar graded MS61. I would pursue the matter but I made the reckless mistake by not taking photo's.*** This is related to collectors universe PCGS.

Won't refund an admitted overcharge. Horrible service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

In April 2022, I submitted coins for grading during a quarterly special. The Quarterly Special 4 said that for each 5 coins submitted, you will only be charged for 4.

I was billed for every coin. I contacted PCGS on 4/28, and Debbie admitted their mistake, and that I would get a refund. A month later, on 5/23, Kevin stated that Debbie submitted the refund to credit on 5/3, and that he would look into the matter and expedite the refund. On 6/1, I spoke with Debbie once again.

She said that she would submit an inquiry into my refund. With this company, there is no ability to speak to a supervisor. They have to submit a request, that they will contact you in 72 hours. There are no contact numbers for departments, staff, or Executives.

There are only generic email addresses, web addresses, or phone numbers that get you nowhere. Stay away from this company. They are fast to charge your credit card, but refuse to refund an admitted error. Don't do business with them.

Go elsewhere. They treat you like crap.

PCGS damaged my coins after I refused to sell 3 of them.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

PCGS & Collectors Universe as well, damaged 5 coins of mine. The absurd comes as that coins were previously graded an imaged by them, then I sent them for restoration.

After 4 months and no news and answers to my emails, they said coins have down graded, and offer me to purchase. I said no, because I knew my coins were so good and they were just trying to cheat on me. They got mad and sent back my coins fully damaged. They imaged the damaged coins.

So I have true view images before and after, were damages are clear as water. Those are their own images, no way they can allege images do not correspond to the coins.

This case can destroy the PCGS for good, but I live in Mexico and nobody seems to care. I have all evdences, email with deceits from Rosenberg, the mudy process, everything.

contact the State Attorney General in the state they are located, send a copy of everything keep a copy. They will get to the bottom of it and will make them pay you.

It may take time but I am just now getting paid 4000 from a different case about a different subject. The Attorney Generals are good at what they do.

Please send me a link to this story on antiquefineart@***.com Thank I just recently joined them and there are some very rude people in the chat forum. It's called Collectors Universe.

It is a link given by PCGS under message boards.

Is this actually the graders? lcourtney123@***.com

COLLECTORS UNIVERSE PCGS FRAUD THIEF LIAR RIPP-OFF

0n 3/2/2019 i sent in 5 coins to PCGS grading service for grading, submission form # 580****, [there is an order number also but will add upon request]

the order included 1 1956-P jefferson nickel with full steps, 1 1964-D washington quarter, 1 1956 washintgton quarter, 1 1963-D washington quarter, and 1 1964-D washington quarter, upon receiving my coins back I noticed a nickel graded without the full steps designation [FS} ????? how could this be ???? the one i sent in clearly had FULL STEPS CLEARLY !!!! upon further examination of the coin i noticed scratches on the obverse and reverse !!! the coin had been switched, or stolen, I called PCGS and asked to speak to the supervisor, and they connected me with david rosenberg-director, mr rosenberg told me on the phone if indeed its not the right coin that he would "make it right with me", he asked me for pictures of which i provides, and so many emails back and forth now mr rosenberg wants me to send back the coin so he can take it out of the holder and see it more better? and i asked him more than twice, "what is wrong with the pictures " ,, he refused to answer the question and he lied to me, I have had over 32 people look at the coin and the pictures and ITS CLEARLY NOT THE SAME COIN !!!!!!! THEY SWITCHED IT !!!!! by the communication with mr rosenberg, he refuses to answer any pertinent question and now has acquiesced by law,

i had numerous people look at the pictures including this morning a print/copy expert at staples, 2 coin dealer friends, one youtube coin expert, a laundrymat girl manager, people at the bust stop, and a marine diesel mechanic, people from all walks of life all agree its not the same coin, so WHAT IS MR DAVID ROSENBERG'S REASON ??? that he cant see the pics ???? what is this mans problem?? i told him the coin is evidence in a criminal investigation, theres more fraud going on with this company also and im going to expose them now, because i was trated very unprofessionally and, mr rosenburg thinks he is so smart, but actually very stupid, by protecting criminals, and im going to show the coins that VARIFY OTHER CRIMES OF THE PCGS GRADING , furthermore, the coin they sent back to me looks buffed with a rag, and it shouldnt even have been graded, i guess somebody thought i was dum and they could just pick out any gold toned nickel and switch it out, YOU JUST DONT LOSE A 10,000$ NICKEL !!!! AND MINE COULD HAVE BEEN WORTH WAY MORE !!! i searched hundreds of nickels looking for the most perfect one. when crimes and frauds are reported they try to cover it up and wont speak about it, this is EXACTLY HOW A CRIME SYNDACATE OPERATES !!!!! RICO CRIMINALS THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING WITH THIER LAWYERS, NOT FOR LONG, !!!!!!! YALL DIRTIEE *** BASTERTS

Another case on Ripoff report

Hi Troy, My name is Rod Sanders. PCGS stole a 1958 doubled die obverse lincoln cent from me as well.

I have proof of the entire scam as it plays out. I've been waiting for this to happen to more people that have photo evidence. The BBB has recorded another complaint as well. Yes, we all need to collaborate and take action.

I tried for years but nobody would listen.

They can't ignore us all. I can be reached at Rodsrei1@***.net

Look at my post at site: PCGS damaged my coins after I refused to sell 3 of them. How many people do you have now on this class action?

Are you a customer or an attorney?

My case is good enough to proceed as RICO This site changed my monetary loss from 99,999 dollars, but they placed instead 100... I do not know why.
