I ordered a bed . It looked beautiful online. I had an emergency and had to leave town. I tried to get them not ship it yet but they said no. My neighbors let them in. When came back home weeks later. I discovered the head board was damaged. I contacted them. I was told because I did get back to them in 24 hrs. It is a warranty issue. Then I was told the manufacturer would do nothing about it. It is very noticeable! Now it's a pass the buck deal! I would never do business with them again. Its sad when you pay this much for furniture and they do nothing but pass the buck. It's a rip off!

I have emailed and called coleman furniture multiple times. I recently bought a living room set and dining room set. The first time, the "forgot" one of my dining room chairs and my $800 buffett. When the living room set was delivered, I didn't catch all of the items until after the movers left. My couch ($1,000) has a box cutter slash in it about a foot and a half long. and Clarks movers in Nashville which you sub--contracted out also scratched my walls. (I touched up already but still will require a handy man to fix correctly) Come on!!! Email or call me back and help! I'm disputing this on my credit card until I get this fixed. Terrible customer service!! For the price I paid, I expect this to be exchanged!

Send them a formal letter of complaint clearly stating the issues involved and serve it via Certified Mail return receipt requested. State the facts (no emotion or editorializing) and your remedial attempts to date ; also that you will allow 7 business days for reply before you initiate further action.

You must establish a timeline and a pattern of presentation and reply...in writing only ! No more calls or e-mail.

terrible company! and terrible workers (Cierra Zayas) after the bed took double the time months to get to me I had been waiting for months. bed broke within minutes of receiving it With no help from this company, second time they have sold me a bad product and one spent thousands now im left to get the bed fixed on my own because they stopped responding to emails and I have no bed to sleep on. I bet if it were them they wouldnt take so long. They dont make manufacturers stand behind their warranty. they try to offer you pennies to get it fixed yourself stay away from these people!

I don't think I've ever been so frustrated with a business as I have with Coleman Furniture. I'd go so far as to say this business is a fraud and reading others reviews they appear to have a business strategy of double billing, revenue through restocking fees and outright misrepresentation of product and delivery time. Their customer support his horrid and appears to be located off-shore. Their support representatives are cold and unhelpful and read and re-read from a script, even if it doesn't at all apply to the situation. They have a history of refusing to respond to questions, complaints and in our case, refused to cancel an order shortly after it was placed. They also have a history of refusing to refund customers, even when the order has been canceled. I would emphatically employ you to find a different place to buy your furniture.

I’ve been waiting for a bed I ordered October 25,2018 here we are today January 11, 2019 .. waiting on my refund!!! I canceled my order since they’ve been deceiving me for months. I wish you luck with the scammers!

Ordered a desk 11-7, was promised it would be delivered by Xmas easily. Called 12-27 and was told it was getting ready to ship from manufacturer, on the same call I asked to cancel order, then was told it had already shipped from the manufacturer so I needed to pay the restocking charge. Don't care for Customer Service Reps that lie to you. Don't know if I ever would have gotten the desk, but I doubt I'll ever do business with them again.

Anyone who has been following me knows I have posted 5 times. The first was the delay of delivery- about 2 weeks they said- try 2 months! The second, they delivered but 2 chairs were stained. So they went to "clean them". The 3rd delivery they came back, never called and while my husband was home they just left. The 4th delivery they brought the 2 chairs back- 1 was still stained- so they "sent out for a new seat chair. The 5th delivery they brought the chair back- the seat was new but NOW there is a black mark on the leg of the white chair. It has been a non ending cycle with this company. Stay away from using Coleman- The pictures look pretty on their sight but the aggravation and lack of respect to their customer are unreal!! Avoid like the plague. *** Sad

Shipping ETA & Restocking Fee for Cancelling Due to Misinformation

If I could give them a zero star rating I would! When we ordered our hall server buffet piece during the checkout process it stated an ETA of 2 weeks. Other suppliers stated 10-days, but we went with Coleman for their pricing and reputation. Unfortunately 2 weeks went by no communication. After almost 3 weeks we get a notification that its with our local delivery partner. Then we wait another few days for a call from them. They are in Chino and we are in San Diego. They said the soonest they can deliver would be another 20 days from contact. So now my ETA of 2 weeks went to 40 days or almost 6 weeks. Spoke with Connie, account manager, and there was nothing they could do about the shipper that they subcontract, regardless what their website stated. I had explained we needed this piece to finish off our décor for TG party we had upcoming. That is why we purchased it on 10/17 to allow plenty of time past the 2 weeks in case of delay. So even with this misinformation, they still want to charge me a restocking fee of 15% to cover their shipping. If you can’t honor an ETA, don’t publish it on the order form prior to checkout and completion of the sale. Next time I will just go to Overstock.com or another online retailer that operates their business truthfully (may cost a bit more) and honors their customer relationships. I will pass this on to the CC company to handle. Save your $$$ and time and google your piece and search for another retailer.

Very bad. Furniture took 2 weeks to ship, then arrived damaged, now company won't accept it back and instead wants me to wait 2 more weeks for replacement parts to ship and expects me to disassemble the product and replace the damaged parts myself!

Terrible customer service. I received dining room chairs with wobbly legs.

After several emails back and forth, I sent them a video of the legs in action.

They advised I can go find someone and have them repaired then send them a bill no more than $75. I just wanted sturdy chairs not these terrible wobbly ones.

Left Us High and Dry with Chairs and No Dining Table!

We ordered a very high end dining set (table and chairs) from Coleman in early November. It was expected that the table would take some time to be delivered. November 30th was expected date. That got changed to December 11th. By mid-December, the local delivery company still had not received the table. Long story short: we were told after multiple phone calls and different stories, that the table was "lost" somewhere during shipment (at the hub or wherever). After going up Coleman's chain-of-command and dealing with a Lori Crawn in upper-management, we were abruptly emailed saying they were re-funding us for the table as they would be "unable to fulfill" the order! The table is currently (at the time of this review) still being offered for sale on Coleman's website. Perhaps they didn't want to ship another one to us at the reduced sale price ($1727 marked down from $2424)? Perhaps they didn't want to incur the cost of shipping another table from Art Furniture from California (found out the North Carolina center was waiting on more of these tables to come in; only in stock in California). Pretty $#*!ty thing to do to a customer to cancel the order at sale price when the table is still being offered at full price on their site! We ended up ordering the table from a different company at same price and will be disputing the remaining charges from Coleman for selling us an incomplete dining set!

Long delay in delivery and worst customer service

Like other reviewers here, I am totally disappointed with Coleman Furniture. Expect extreme long delays in delivery and ridiculous customer service experience. This was my first order (and still trying to clean up the mess) and will be the last. Just wanted to warn others. Do NOT bother doing business with this company. The reason I ordered from Coleman (my first order from the company) is somewhat lower price and the promise of reasonably fast ( 2 to 4 weeks) white glove delivery. In practice, things are very different. This is week 11, and I am still waiting. Customer service can't provide a delivery ETA and won't cancel the order and provide refund (unless you pay 15% restocking fee). I ended up disputing the transaction with my credit card.

Let’s all call the News and expose the SCAMMERS! I’ve contacted NBC News and Channel 9 investigates .

I’ve also reported them to the BBB-Bettet Business Bureau in New York. I have family in NYC who will be taking further action if I don’t receive my FULL refund this coming week.

I don't believe for a minute that any of the "good" reviews are real. I'm guessing employees have to submit them here and there to look like you have any chance of receiving decent service.
