Walked away from contract, not worth his time.

I received a bid for a roof on an addition to my home. I accepted the bid and signed the contract. About 7 days later I received an email that he attempted to add the roofing job to the contractors permit and the construction permit was not current and had not been paid. I knew that it was paid and current so I contacted him with the permit number. He responded very rudely that it wasn't his problem and that he wouldn't do the job until the permit issue was resolved. I gave him the contractors # and asked him to contact him because there was no issue with the permit but he never did. My contractor called him twice but he never responded. I guess my business wasn't important to him since it was a small $1200 job it wasn't worth his time. He just simple walked away and never contacted us back. Good thing I never paid him a deposit!

New roof and mean attitude

I had new roof installed and hired Cockney Roofing, as we have discussed with Mr. President Conlon before all the work, I could divide the payments only later to find out, he needs the money and I never told him about it!!! He was very rude over the phone, he threatened to get a lawyer!!! And hang up, later he said he has nothing to say to me. very unprofessional and very mean guy! Suggest you look for nicer people who are more mature and intelligent! He was lying and pretended we never agreed to payments, he is also thinking that I am young and single mom and he can yell at me all he wants because I am nice person.

Very rude employees. Driving in Pinellas Park, one of their drivers cut me off and had the nerve to give me the finger. Would never hire such rude and unproffessional jerks

on july 16th2009 i hired cockney roofing to put a new roof on my house, well they put nails through the froen pipe to my airconditoner and i had to pay $3250.00 to get it fixed( charles conlon [president) said that who ever put the pipe in was responsible so he wasn't going to pay so Mr charles conlon you will be hearing from my lawyers next week as they say that if you think you can get away with that you must be living in la la land, you are responsible you cannot destroy other peoples property without paying

Whoever runs their refrigerant lines on a plane with the top of the top cord of trusses or underneath the roof sheathing close enough to be hit by a nail should not be in the HVAC industry.A roofers only to assume that no one would run lines that close which is the industry standard. IT'S NOT THE ROOFERS RESPONSIBILITY!

Put nails through my freon pipe and blew up my airconditioner

i enployed cockney roofers inc, largo fl to replace my roof whilst doing this they put nails through the freon pipe and blew the compressor in my airconditioner and they admitted this but refuse to compensate me because they said that it was old anyway and they said that the person that put the pipe in should not have put it near the roof and that they should pay for it, the president of cockney roofers is charles conlon and he is an arrogant moron his ph no is 727521****, anyone needing a new roof stay away from cockney roofing. from jennifer clarke
