Downright Rip-off and Extremely Rude!

Took a pair of heels in for repair--the strap had snapped off one side. They charged me $15.95 to glue the strap and it snapped off the first time I put them on. Went to the shop to see what could be done and the rude clerk wouldn't help me because it had been too long since the repair-- it had been 2 weeks. I could have done the same but knew it wouldn't hold. No offer to repair again, refund or give credit (which I wouldn't have accepted anyway). Never go to the Hulen location in SW Fort Worth.

Cobblestone quality shoe repair-phoenix

I called Cobblestone and asked if they shortened straps on satin slingbacks. The representative on the phone said yes and to bring them in that it would cost $12.95 and would be done in about a day. I ordered these shoes online for an event to go to on May 28th. I took them in May 24th. The representative said they do this all the time, no problem , done tomorrow. I picked them up May 26th. They looked awful. The shoe was blue and they used stark white thread that was 10 time ticker than the thread of the shoe. I said it was unacceptable. He said he had a better blue and to come back in 15 minutes. I asked if the satin would be ruined from the white thick thread, he said no. I came back and now the satin on the strap was shredded. The stitching was also crooked. These shoes were never worn. They were brand new and I just got them Friday May 21st. i was very disappointed and very upset. they ruined my shoes. He told me that this was his fault and he will make it right. He told me he would be contacting the owner to resolve the issue. The owner called me and said they will order the right thread and he will go look at the shoe. Never heard from the owner so I called June 4th, Chris said they will be ready June 7th or 8th. He called June 9th and said I may need to go elsewhere that they have a close match but to come in and take a look. The owner also called me frustrated saying he didn't want to touch the shoe anymore and I will need to go elsewhere. June 28th I went to the store and they picked a great thread but the damage has already been done. The strap is shredded on one shoe. the other shoe looks fine. I said I wanted them to refund the cost of my shoe. He said he will have the owner call me. It's been five business days and they still have my shoes and have not contacted me to resolve the issue. when i contacted the bbb..the owner refused to pay for the cost of my shoes and said there was no damage, that they gave me a discounted price to repair them and i was being unreasonable.
