Coachs Driving School of Ravenna
Dead End Driving
Last year I hired Coach's driving school to teach my son how to drive while at Kent State University. It started out well and went down hill.
In November I ended up being hospitalized and my son needed to come home. Coach's was notified that he would not be able to have lessons while at home in Wickliffe helping me out. They said okay. During a severe thunderstorm prior to that, they stopped the lesson and during finals week my son called and cancelled for a week so he could study and take his tests.
Again, they said that was okay. Once I was out of the hospital we tried several - no sorry numerous times to reach the school to no avail. We even sent a message stating that his temp would expire in June 2019, no response. Finally when I mentioned "Small claims court" we got an answer stating that we cancelled several times without notice; not there fault; and sent me a refund which should have been $326 but they sent me $156 a far cry from what was due me.
The contract says lessons are $250, yet his e-mail says 8 lessons at $40 a piece. Beware of this school and your money.
Preferred solution: Full refund
