Verified Reviewer |The manager was really rude, discriminated me and my family, and she didn’t give us to buy a bag
- - Macy's incident on Jan 1, 2024 around 19:30–20:00 over a bag tag.
- - The manager stopped the sale and refused to reveal a name, with a police threat noted.
Hello, so it happened today at 19:30-20:00pm on January 1, 2024. My mother wanted to buy a bag, she almost bought it but she noticed there was another tag on the bag and asked the worker to change like it was on the first one(the same, but not a new one).
And the worker almost changed but then the manager said to her stop, it was not there and I asked why we wanted especially with this tag or my mother can not buy, the manager told us So goodbye, have a nice day, it is not my problem, i asked her why you tell us this and this way ,we really want to buy and she said leave the store please. So the store could sell it but she stopped the selling. And I swear she was really rude and she couldnt control her emotions, I asked tell your name please and we leave the store and just report about you to Macys and she answered no, I will not introduce my self and didnt give a permission other co workers tell her name, what is it? It happened in Macys?
My she even didnt tell her name ? It is my right to know it , because I am a customer. And she said you from another country, go there , Im shocked. How is it possible, it is really sad, and no one tried to help us, other workers tried to protect her and one guy tried to argue with us, she threatened us to call the police and security but for what that we want to know her name?
Please help us, I know why she didnt want to tell her name because she knows she will answer for her words and will be fired probably, thats why she was scared. And even the security guy couldnt tell us her name and scared of her.
I just have her photo and attach it. I hope you will help me.
Preferred solution: The manager in coach (Macy’s) in New York should be fired or punished.
User's recommendation: Please, control your emotions and trying to resolve the situation or not just running away. Do not discriminate other people! Be polite with customers please

Verified ReviewerFraudulant Represenation
- - Used a code to buy and paid the difference; no shipping notice.
- - Cancellation for misusing the code; support silent; many affected.
I used a code to make a purchase. Paid the difference.
A few days later, I went to find a shipping notice - had none. I emailed and was advised there are no problems at all, it's just a busy time and my order will be shipped in the next 3 days.
Imagine my surprise to receive a cancellation email 3 days later saying that I misused my code? I responded to this email and waited on a reply. Radio silence.
I replied again. Nothing.
I know at least 40 or 50 people who will proceeding to theCCCC due to this as the T&Cs don't match what was quoted either and the code error was due to COACH not providing one time codes.
Very frustrating as under consumer law the orders should have been honored. At least 100 people were stung...but you were happy to hang onto our money for that extra week...
Preferred solution: I would like my order honoured.
User's recommendation: Avoid

- - Shop is fake unless purchased through Coach Outlet Australia.
- - Jillian Slingback heels $299; peeled after 10 wears in 2 months.
Hi All, Whatever you don't purchase through Coach outlet store Australia, this shop is fake and the product last just 2 months. Products that are overpriced rubbish.
I bought Jillian Slingback heels 2 months ago for $299 and after just 10 times wearing it is peeling off.
I showed that to the shop manager and she said it is leather, and it is part of wear and tear. customer service was low and quality of product was 2out of 5.
Preferred solution: Full refund
Watch terrible quality, not worth the price
- - I bought a $750 Coach watch in Melbourne.
- - After a few days it had scratches on the surface.
- - Store and service say it isn't covered by warranty.
notDo no Recently I bought a Coach watch in a Melbourne store. The watch retail price was $750 AUD.
After wearing for few days, there were a lot of scratches on the watch surface. This is not acceptable. I have written to Coach customer service and went to the store but all of them said this issue is not covered by the warranty.
How could you use such a low quality of material to make watch surface like this? It is so easy to be scratched in daily use conditions.
A $750 worth watch should not have this terrible quality. I think it is fair to expect the watch surface to have scratche resistance.
Feel free to contact me if you need any photos or more information.
User's recommendation: Do not buy Coach watches

- - Bought sunglasses May 2019 at Harbor Town Shopping Centre.
- - Used them 10 times or less.
- - Warranty covers only the frame, not the glass.
I bought my sunglasses in May 2019 at Harbor Town Shopping Centre and i only have used them not more than 10-times and the lady said to me that the glass is not covered by the warranty only the frame . Very disappointed and just waste of the money. I hope i get a solution .
Preferred solution: Full refund
Discriminative Customer Service
- - Exchange policy unclear; one exchange allowed.
- - Last piece on display; a new one was available.
- - Customer felt discriminated by staff.
I purchased 3 bags from Coach South Wharf DFO Melbourne, went to exchange and the lady says you can do only once, the policy doesnt say that. When I chose a bag, on asking for a fresh piece of bag that I liked to purchase the chinese sales person says this one is the last one that is on display, a week ago the store manager had confirmed having 7 new ones.
When I checked with another sales person she brought me a new one which was well packed. When I confronted the sales, she just chickened out. Very rude in assisting as if we Indians do not deserve respect at all. I found all the customer service people very discriminative.
I observed, when Chinese and Australians come into the store, the CE are so welcoming by giving them great customer service, when I entered not a single greeted neither came to assist even though I bought 3 expensive bags. I will never buy Coach bags in my life, very humiliating.
- Pissed off
Quality has deteriorated
- - Bought a leather laptop bag for almost $900.
- - Damaged by ordinary wear and tear in a short span.
- - No redress offered; company referred to a $180 repair.
Bought a leather laptop bag for almost $900. In over arguably a short span of time, was damaged by ordinary wear and tear - and by ordinary I mean carrying the weight of a Macbook Air and academic paperwork (the plastic frames at the corner were showing). I own/have owned other Coach bags and this is the first time this has happened. This is especially odd since a leather laptop bag/brief is supposed to be tougher than ladies handbags.
Company did not offer redress but only recommended their repair shop, which will charge me $180. Such a disappointment.
- Not stand behind their products
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
Shoes falling apart
- - The Coach black leather loafers split at the toe after five wears.
- - No return, repair, or refund offered; they have lost me as a loyal customer.
I bought a pair of lovely and pricey Coach shoes in Tennessee while on vacation from Austrlia and loved them. So comfy but the the toes started to come apart.
First it was like a grazing in the leather. I have only worn them five times and the toe leather is splitting already. No return offered. Not happy and I now can't wear them.
These are lovely black leather loafer shoes. They can't even be repaired. Bought in May. It's now June.
I can't get the company to repair them or refund them or even swap them for another pair. I used to love Coach and have a number of clutch bags that I use for special occasions but they have lost me as a loyal customer.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
Coach bag rip off
- - Warns against Coach Outlet Store Australia; describes products as cheap/overpriced and reports no refund reply to coachoutletstore@***.com.
Hi All, Whatever you do dont purchase through Coach outlet store Australia, this website is cheap and nasty chinese/korea products that are over price rubbish, this is the email address I frequently used to get my money back as I had a faulty zip on the coach bag I purchased and wanted to send it back and I have not heard from this company yet, that is three weeks ago. coachoutletstore@***.com - do not use this company.
If I can save one from spending their hard earn cash, we have won against internet companies that rip people off. The official Coach company should do something about these cheap nasty companies!
- No refund for faulty bag
- No response about return policy
Preferred solution: Full refund
