Poor communication, lack of professionalism, and a disregard for homeowner wellbeing

CMS Roofing Company was selected by the Meadows HOA Board of Directors to complete the reroofing of all buildings in our community. This decision was based on assurances from the company's owner, Mike, who promised that the project would be completed on time and efficiently by experienced employees who had been with the company for 1215 years.
Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect those assurances.
The reroofing of our home was scheduled five times, yet on each occasion, the CMS crew failed to appear without providing any notice or explanation. As senior citizens with significant health issues, my husband and I were forced to repeatedly move our outdoor furniture in and out in anticipation of the workan unnecessary burden that could have been avoided with proper communication.
Additionally, the CMS staff who eventually arrived did not speak English and appeared unaware of who their employer was, raising concerns about accountability and proper training.
Due to the lack of assistance and unclear coordination, I sustained a significant personal injury while preparing our property for the anticipated roofing work.
In our opinion, CMS Roofing Company/Mike Curcio demonstrated poor communication, a lack of professionalism, and a disregard for homeowner wellbeing. Based on our experience, I do not recommend using this company.
