We moved to Quail Village, which is cloverbasins sister community 2 years ago. We were told that we would have access to cloverbasins ammenities (pools, workout facilities, clubhouse). Never received access. When I questioned the "new" management about this, was told that due to the high number of folks living at Cloverbasin, Quail residents are now being denied access. They new mangement company raised my rent $500 more per month and are demanding that tenants take out a $100,000 insurance policy on THEIR units. I am refusing to pay it. They have to carry that kind of insurance, not me as the renter. It would not surprise me if they didn't somehow damage a unit and collect a lot of money.

The apartments themselves are run down on the inside. Really old, worn out linoleum, *** and very cheap carpet. They are cold in the winter and hot in the summer as there is evidently very little insulation in the walls. My bathtub is freezing in the winter and if you place your hand in the right spot on the shower walls, you can actually feel the wind. The window suck and are very inferior quality as they let in a lot of air. Have never had them leak though when it rains.

Another new charge is $75 per month for water, sewer and trash. I'm sorry but there is no way in •••• that we incur that much in water trash and sewer. There are over 100 units in this complex and if you do the math that's $7,500 per month that they are collecting. There is no way they are being charged that much for services. They are making a ****load of money. I do understand the need to make a profit but come on!!!

When I asked how they planned to make these apartments more "luxurious", they would not return my messages. They will not install bike racks because (and I quote) "the complex isn't doing well finiancially and we will have to wait on that, yet, they will not allow you to keep your bike on your balcony.

I have found another apartment complex with amenities such as a pool, work out facilities, bike racks and a hot tub for less than what I am paying here. I will be giving notice and moving the *** out of here very soon. Beware of Cloverbasin and its sister community Quail village.

Where? I feel trapped.

I am on a voucher. They make me feel like no other place will treat me as well. They just poisoned the families of squirrels that found their way to nesting in my unit.

Yeah, been here six years...carpet is rotting under my feet. I need out.

I have no Internet and do not have a credit card to make an online payment to Clover Basin which left me scrabbling to find a way to pay my rent which I was unable to do and still haven't found the means to accommodate this new requirment which was cause fot a late fee of $85 +$10 per day in addition to a three day demand for payment or vacate notice stuck on my front door. Needless to say once you are late the only way you can pay is by money order or certified check which thankfully was the only option I had for making my rent payment only it cost me and extra $95 this month.

Cloverbasin

cloverbasin is giving tenants 2 weeks to auto pay rent on the internet. many do not have computers or internet banking and no experience with it.

they are making this mandatory and will not accept checks leaving some tenants in a big mess. do we move out?they are demanding some 4000 $ if we leave during a lease year.we are section 8 .some disabled. no money except ss,ssi etc. there are continuous letters on our doors regarding patios, parking.

many, things like harassment almost. pipes breaking .holes in ceiling water pouring in, rain thru windows, endless!furnaces have broken down in cold weather , water heaters leaking, old noisy refrigs-some have been replaced.

Horrible management, horrible quality

I have lived here for several years and have hated every minute of it, but haven't been able to afford to leave. Until they raised their rates to ridiculous amounts, they used to be the nicest for the amount.

Now, they are soooo not worth it! I've been stuck! But finally moving out in a few months when my lease ends! Management is horrendous.

One person tells you one thing and another tells you something else, and the tenant will be punished for the managements miscommunication. The few employees that are decent, don't last long. The Apartment manager is the worst i've ever seen! They look for any reason to *** out of money.

They spent who knows how much last year putting in ridiculous dog training toys in the dog park that NO ONE uses and kids play on more often than not, and changing all the signs to say "Luxury apartments" but did no work inside the tiny, crumbling apartments themselves. Any maintenance takes forever to get done, if it gets done at all. Though the maintenance guys are super nice, but overwhelmed. This place was built so poorly and the cheapest of cheap everything was put in here...but they will charge you for the cheap *** breaking for sure!

The quality of people gets worse and worse every year. My kids bikes and toys are constantly being stolen, even off our porch! The police are here constantly, usually because the neighbors call them for just about anything, domestic disturbances, drugs, and who knows what else. It's a surprise when you don't see a cop car in the parking lot!

Some of the tenants look like they belong in the ghetto. The Apartments are quite literally falling apart! You can hear everything...from the people who stomp up and down the stairs, to people talking (or arguing and screaming) in the breezeways, to the breezeway doors slamming shut! The windows and doors leak horribly!

There is never enough parking.

And they love to stick all the section 8 people in the same buildings and if you happen to be stuck in that same building, then it is assumed you are also on section 8 or receive other assistance, and treated like a low life by management.

The only positive thing I can say, is that they usually do a pretty good job keeping up the Grounds. It's not perfect, but they try.

I am on a mental health voucher, I don't get treated any poorly than you do, in fact...Sounds like I may get treated better. Sometimes the way you treat others may be the way you get treated.

It is not the best place in world. But its a roof over my head and there are those I can help. I look at every situation as a chance to help others. And this has been a great experience.

Been 6 yrs.

I will ne moving on next lease change. Be blessed

I agree. I live in the sister community, Quail Village.

The apartments are "luxury" but you hear every noise in the parking lot, and sometimes you hear your neighbors. The new management company, Mission Rock, are greedy as ****. They are telling us that we have to have insurance in the amount of $100,000 on our units, charging $75 per month for water, trash and sewer. Those were included in rest up until this year.

They increased my ready by $500 this year. No amenities up here either.

No pool, no exercise equipment, only a tiny little playground which I'm not even sure anyone uses.

Clover Basin Village Apartments, Health and Safety Issue

I have lived here since 2012 and am leaving ASAP. I have lived with Ants, Mold, Condoms, vomit(twice) and blood being found outside my front door.

Ants and mold inside my apartment. Management has addressed this issue with a bucket of water, no more. In addition to, my neighbors have harbored a sex offender that has failed to register in their apartment. Management has done nothing.

He is STILL there! Longmont police arrested him for failure to register, but he is released on bail awaiting his day in court. Neither pool is open and it is mid June with excessive heat. They claim there was glass in the pool.

There was a very foul smell coming from it, and it has been closed for over 3 weeks. It takes a pool vac and a hose to get glass out of the water. Seriously!

They sent me an offer to renew my lease with a rent increase of over 33%. NO WAY would I ever live here again!

Our Management Had Maintenance Take Our Washer and Dryer For No Reason

We have been here; (regrettably) at CloverBasin Village Apartments, since November 8, 2005!!! And, all of a sudden, the new management sent in maintenance to come in, and take out, our Washer and Dryer, for no reason.

We have, been paying, on it; every month. And, all of a sudden, they take it, out, of our apartment. We pay EXTRA for it. As our RENT, was raised; because of them.

And; they tear, our clothes, and they want us; to pay, EXTRA. There, was no reason, to do this. We are, and have been, good tenants.

Ever since, we moved in, they have been discriminating against us; for one reason, or another. All of the managemnt companies, that have been through here.

Do Not Move To CloverBasin Village Apartments Here In Longmont, Colorado

We have been here; at this apartment, (CloverBasin Village Apartments); since November 8,2005!!! We have seen, them; change management companies, at least three times, or more.

This latest one, is the worst. We paid RENT, last month. But; they are, saying, we didn't. We are, on Public Housing.

(Which means; our Housing costs, are reduced), due to being on SSI and SSDI!!! They, want us; to pay, MORE; that we have, per month. We are; only, supposed to pay, a 1/3 of our INCOME. We pay $241; but, we paid; more ($271), because, they want more; for a washing machine, that tears clothes.

They, want us; to pay, $1,042. (Because, we only, want; to go, month to month).

We do not; even get that much, per month. We only get $1,031 per month.

If, anyone, is thinking of coming out, to Colorado, to RENT, an apartment.

DO NOT RENT, from CloverBasin Village Apartments.

My husband's health, has gotten worse, since; we moved here.
