Clippity Doo Dog

My dog is 14 years old and has no eyes. It is necessary to have a mobile pet groomer for her.

Here is what happened yesterday. I clearly had a confirmed date of January 12. I juggled my schedule to make sure I would be home for her appointment. I asked for a time window and received no response.

After receiving a terse message that they were running behind, I never heard from them again. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism!

First-- make sure you have a big enough lot for a pick up and trailer. I did not know that this groomer required a huge amount of parking space.

Second-- make sure you discuss your grooming needs before groomer arrives. She does not do scissor cuts-- only clippers.

Again-- I didn't know that beforehand.

We agreed that we were not a good match and she didn't groom either of my 2 dogs.

I've used this grooming service for a few years. The owner is always late and on 2 occasions cancelled at the last minute.

I do not recommend this groomer. She is unprofessional and not dependable. There are plenty of dog groomers in business that you don't have to use an unprofessional company. I would gladly pay more for quality service.

I will never use this company again. Buyer beware. Your animals deserve better care and attention.

When you schedule an appointment the person you schedule the appointment with should be on time for your appointment and not text you ten minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

This groomer is fantastic, her and her assistants make a fun and calm experience for my dogs so they aren't nervous. And they looked awesome.

She also uses a wonderful product that gets dried into the fur that makes it soft and shiny, and is the most glorious smelling thing on the planet. Highly recommend this groomer!

Clippity Doo Dog was unprofessional, negligent, and poor quality work. They were late for a 10:30am appt.

Received a text at 11am to reschedule to 1:30pm. Once arrived explained to the assistant the needs and wants for our senior, large dog. I was told an hour to an hour and half max. time then and on the phone prior to appt.

2 1/2 hours later I was approached from the groomer that she had cut my dogs tongue and had been attempting to the stop the bleeding for the past 20 to 30minutes. I went inside the mobile unit to find my senior dog frantic and sheared.

We had requested and 3/4 to an inch of fur left. We are left with a skinned, cold, visibly stressed dog.

I had a scheduled appointment on a Monday at 9 AM. 10 AM rolls around, no call, no show.

I called and left a voicemail. Then called again at 2 and was immediately sent to voicemail.

It's been a week and still never heard back from the owner. Do NOT use this groomer, she is completely unreliable!!

Never again! I needed to get my poodle groomed for an event.

The groomer I had been using was getting very sloppy so I decided to give Clippity Doo Dog a try. I scheduled an appt about 2 weeks away (Thurs). The appt came-no groomer. I called around 30 min after the appt time.

No answer so I left a message. Finally I get a text from her saying that she had an emergency & could she reschedule for Sun. The day AFTER my event. I told her no, I needed him groomed for the event.

She said she could come Sat at 8:30 am. 8:30 roles around...no groomer. I sent her a text asking if she's still coming. She texts back saying yes.

I'll give her ONE more chance cuz who's going to fit him in now? I said trim his hair HALF of the length it was. She SHAVED HIM! I had to go back & fix her mistakes!

He looks HORRIBLE. She cut half the ear hair off as in thickness. She didn't cut the hair on his face short enough, esp around his eyes & nose. she didn't cut the hair close on his feet to give him "poodle paws".

I am sooooo upset! I could have done a better job. You don't shave a poodle! You don't cut the ears diagonally!

I was so embarrassed at the event. He was the WORST looking dog there. Other people agreed that he looked ridiculous. I sent her an email regarding this & she didn't even have the decency to apologize or respond at all.

I was so upset that I didnt want to talk with for fear I would say something very nasty.

Don't use her!! You'll be so SORRY!!'
