Booked this Hotel through Booking.com, and informed the Hotel that I plan to come early as I wanted to get Breakfast in Clearwater Beach, and asked if I could get my room before 3 PM. They informed me that I could check in between 12 Noon and 2 PM, but it would cost me an additional $25. My room was not ready until around 3 PM, so I did not have to pay the hidden charges. The room was on the 5th floor with a nice water view, directly over the pool, with a shower that felt like a massage. I only stayed 1 night and left the next day when all the problems began. I asked for a receipt upon leaving, but was told to get it from Booking.com instead, who in turn told me it was up to the Hotel to give me a receipt, so I asked the Hotel to email a receipt to me. While waiting for my receipt, I checked my Debit Card transactions and discovered that I had been charged an additional $30. I therefore called the Hotel again and asked about those hidden charges. Was told it was for damages, as the towels apparently had makeup stains on them. I therefore asked them for proof, as the only stain I saw was light pink when the towels were wet, and since the towels were white, the stains should have been easy to remove with bleach when doing the laundry. Guess since they could not get their extra $25, they decided to charge me $30 instead, as reading some reviews on Trip Advisor.com I saw that other guests had problems with this Hotel as well, so I am not the only one to complain.
