LOSS OF TIME, MONEY. DISCOURTESY FROM RECEPTION TO NURSE TO PHYSICIANS ASSISTANT WITH ONLY ONE THING IN MIND, TO CHARGE THE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR A LESS THAN WORTHWHILE VISIT.

Original review Sep 14, 2021

I have used this location in the past with somewhat decent results. Today however, I have noticed an "Obvious" deciline in reception, wait time, care by a physician's assistant, and overall inability to live up to their marketing messaging. I had to wait over 5 hours to be seen by someone which totally negates the meaning of urgent care and not going to my ER.D

Loss:
$700
Cons:
  • Everthing

Preferred solution: Apology

User's recommendation: I will NEVER use this place again. I would rather wait in an Emergency Room where patient care, safety, and comfort are the norm. Urgent Care on The Miracle Mile warrants no more that 1 star or LESS.

Diagnosing is very bad, they just give antibiotics to see it works

Clearchoice MD - portsmouth, laffeyatte road.. -- road to ***..

I have had 2 occasions personally, and with my Son being treated for viral flue and sore throat.

1st day we went there as my son had a cold and fever, my son was given Amoxiccilin, without proper diagnosis. That didnt help him and the symptoms were same or worse as he was kind of weak due to the heavy antibiotic intake. We had to take him again to Beacon Internal medicine - portsmouth center again , and they also questioned on the prescribed antibiotic so early........... however, it took 7 days for my son to recover, it was a viral flue.........

Only reason i went there was that they are open everyday till 8.. but id wait next time no more clearchoice as its a waste of money and they dont know what they are doing.

Next joke, few days ago, i went with sore throat, fever, red eye ( conjuvitis).. they said its not virak and its strep.... treated me with 875 mg AMOXICIILIN.. after 5 days im still having same or worse symptoms, when I call them, they say then it must be viral.

What on the earth they were diagnosing ?.,. its like you and me doing a trial and error play doctor scene on TV.. no responsibility and they werent even aware that sometimes even when one antibiotic isnt working, they should try another with a different family that could work which could potentially be given after a culture report.

Please my friends, do not go there. its a waste of money and time. thank god I do not have any issues or concerns with Insurance, paying for my medical. but I do hate when the Doctors, staff take us a ride as if they know everything and they do very careless mistakes.
